Received the RFE letter from USCIS today, four days after issuance. Reason for RFE they need the Intent to Marry Letter from the beneficiary. I know for sure we submitted a notarized Intent to Marry Letter from my fiance together with all the documents when we submitted the application. They either misplaced it or they want a newer one. I have to get my fiance in the Dominican Republic to sign a new letter and perhaps notarize it and send it to me ASAP and I will submit the response. I am relieved that is an easy one and praying we will get approved shortly thereafter. This proves once again that USCIS needs to meet a quota for RFEs. I am 100% certain we submitted a Letter of Intent to Marry for both of us, I even translated it from Spanish, however somehow it was "lost in translation".... oh well....patience is a virtue...we now have to wait few more weeks until we have the approval...what is few more weeks for a lifetime of happiness with the love of my life?

Approved!!!! OMG I am so so happy now. 205 days since NOA1. I called my fiance even she was sleeping.

Today I woke up and checked the old site first, which has disappointed me again. When i checked the new site, I screamed!!! No email or text.

I joined this forum weeks ago, before that I didn't even know there was a new site to check the case status. I have been using the old one for last half year and even for my  whole naturalized citizen case. Thanks for the information everyone. I just want to share the best moment with you guys and hope everyone can get the approval soon.

NOA1 12/21/17, NOA2 7/13/18.

That’s amazing to hear that we have approvals on 7/11 and 7/13. This made my day!! I checked both sites this morning and nothing. I will check again. Yay!!

If it will speed things up for you guys nothing for USCIS and NVC needs to be notarized for the K-1 process and most Embassy's are the same (but check to be sure of your Embassy requirements).

Yes you can get started even if your file is not yet received at USEM. Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.
