Tuesday was raining approvals and now it's just dead!

Some people said they go in a order, but it is hard to believe. I have been following VJ since the day I applied and every day is different. Some days are full of approvals than is quite again for God knows how many days. It is like a lottery, I just have to remember myself everyday now that today is not my lucky day.

Well I broke down and decided to call the uscis for myself and see what was happening to my case. The conversation went like this....I called the number and punched 1.2.2.2 until I got a person. She was able to tell me the same information that I can see from the web pages. “Received”. I asked to speak to a level 2 person and after some more questions the woman said she will transfer me to a level 2 person. Then I had to put my phone number in for a call back.....2 hours later they called me back. 

 

Well bad news....there computer system is down and they can’t give any information. She apologized great,y and said they have been having challenges. I asked if she could tell me where they are at with petitions...she was able to pull up the that information, December 15, 2017. 

 

She said hopefuly monday their systems will be running again and maybe try calling back then. But to also not worry....there only at December 15 “officially”.......any dates after that.....are lucky ones 😛.

so....this may explain why we see nothing happening 😏. And.....well now here is hoping.....just maybe when they get their system going again......we will see the down pour of approvals or RFE again 🤣😁 here hoping 😛

 

keep also checking your your mail box 🙃.... that is a more guarantee way of finding out. Lol

Oh my God! We got approved. My fiancee just called me to tell me that and sent a copy of our approval to me. Apparently we got approved on the 10th of July and received the hard copy today.

 

Old site says received, app says received new site says received. 

Received date; 12/29/2017

N02; 07/10/2018

Lol I want to believe this....but....lol we will see 🤣....but checking my mail box and hoping we won’t have to wait too much longer. 205 days now....but I can see others waiting much longer 😟

I do have android on my phone and I downloaded USCIS case tracking. Than when you download it you would be able to scan up to 500 cases.  This app only allows you to scan cases based on old site. For the new site each time you look up your case you need a special code that automatically will be sent to your phone number. I hope that is helpful.

Down load case tracker and at the bottom of the screen is the search button, click on that and type your case number and you can scan. But it takes the data from the old web sight and since that is not working, the app won’t be current information.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I checked the new site showing Approved on Jul 11 2018. NOA1 old site Dec 19 2017, NOA1 new site Dec 21 2017. Hoping everyone starts receiving their approvals shortly too!

I just checked, and we received a RFE. Hopefully an easy fix. I'll let you know what it is when I receive the letter.
