Thank you!! One question though, in the website said that we got a RFE on July 5th but I remember I checked that day and it still said "received" and my fiance didn't receive it in the mail yet.  is that normal?

I also got an RFE and none of the websites are updating for me. Just expect a letter in the mail! Mine came about 5 business days after the letter was dated. You should be getting it soon!

Yes. Or at least it has been happening recently. People getting updated on the new website only. No email, no text, no old website. Our approval didn't show up until as approved July 3rd, even though the website said it was on Jun 29th.

Thank you so much!! ^_^

Figured I better come here and post also. Check my threads for the K1 approval post I did yesterday. But I just got approved in 187 days. NOA1 date was 12/26/2017, and approval date via the Website was July 3rd,2018. I just got the Image from my NOA2 in my informed delivery from USPS. I will attach it. Everyone should be signed up for this, especially if you have a case with USCIS going on.

hi jakejon!

yeah i read your posts everytime and can definitely relate a whole lot. hehehe. i'm a silent reader. i comment every now and then but mostly a silent reader and i read everyday. i remember your let down ones but then i'm so happy you got yours. gave me hope! which then i checked my status and then nothing. ahahaha. then i saw driven's chart and noticed they totally skipped over my date dec 21. hahaha. so it might still be a few more days or weeks for me. i mean i'll hope for the best but yeah realistically... not really. so it's just really waiting time for me. so it's a mix of emotions happy but bitter or sad. hahaha. i dunno rollercoaster feelings with this k1 visa. hahaha.  but thanks for the last part... yeah hoping it would be soon when i least expect it! mwahugs! good luck for the rest of the steps! hope to see you in the july nvc thread. hahahaha

Have you guys started gathering your document for your interview at USEM? My experience is that the government agency's where you get your documents from (Birth Certificate, NBI etc) are known for their sloppy record keeping. Many who have gone before you don't discover and error until they are close to their interview date and now they have to cancel and fix the document. So advice - look over every single Filipino document for errors in spelling, naming or date for accuracy. Now is the time to catch any of that. If she lived in another country since the age of 16 yo for more than 6 months she needs a Police Clearance and now is a good time to start that process. Let me know if I can be of any help as I have helped hundreds there in the PI to get their visa.

Hey everyone!

Have been a longtime lurker here, and been reading all of the posts you all have been writing. Now I figured it was my time to contribute since we've been approved!

NOA1: 12/20

NOA2: 07/03

USCIS didn't update their website until this morning. However my fiancé did call USCIS yesterday where they told him we were approved!

I really hope everyone else gets approved soon. Perhaps you're already approved and they've just been too lazy to update the website yet?? I hope the best for you! Thanks everyone for being so helpful.

I was wondering if anyone has seen a post/forum for NOA2 July ---> NVC? I haven't been able to find one myself.

Thank you!

To be honest, we had these exact same thoughts. Every day was a let down, and honestly we had so little hope at moments. Jake has been having a terrible week with work and we were getting in an incredibly low mood with the routine of the endless months of FaceTime. Hours of going through the original application, nit-picking everything we could have done better, etc... We are truthfully lucky, and just want to pass on that everyone's day is coming, and this is only a drop in the bucket in the long term of everyone's relationship. We have to remember that at the core, we are doing this to be the person we love. And love is a timeless thing, that is something that no government organization can come between.

We wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone for all of the support, and wish everyone the absolute best of luck. And just to remember that, at the very moment you least expect it, you will have your day.

Sending all of our love to our December filers  (L)

I want to thank you for your words of encouragement.....you wrote exactly what We have been feeling for a week. 😞 but my favorite part that you wrote is “this is only a drop in the bucket in the long term of everyone’s relationship. We have to remember that at the core, we are doing this to be with the person we love. And love is a timeless thing, that is something no that no government organization can come between.” Amen!!! These words encourage us on!!!
