My fiance just called and said he is receiving an email from the Department of Homeland Security

Just checked the status on the new site and it still says recieved..

well now the nerves are starting!

Don’t worry. All good. You’ve been touched and updated. Approval or RFE. If RFE you’ll (like anyone else) overcome that. Jon 🍀

Looks like lots of good news today!!!!!

Absolutely. Enquiries date as per website for receipt dates is currently for 4th Dec or before. It’s our time. Most of us will have our enquiry dates by 26/7, if we don’t all get approved by then. We can finally take action. How exciting!!!!!!!!!! We’ve waited long enough 🎉🎉🎉🎉🍀

Can you please explain in detail your interaction with USCIS executive as when

my Fiancé called about 30 minutes back they told him generic answers that they are processing Dec 5th and should hear in a couple of weeks.

I would appreciate your help and advice.

Congratulations once again !!!!

I called them and followed the prompts as if I didn't have a WAC×××××× number. So when they answered I told them that I couldn't find my WACxxxxxx number and that it had been more than 180 days and that I have an issue with my mail getting lost by the post office and was just wanting to make sure the hard copying hadn't been lost. They asked for my SSN#, address, what kind of petition was filed and then he said we were approved!

Okay any specific reason you did that or just trying a different method- it was smart  though!! What is your number ??. Should we too try it??

Did you speak to someone or go through the automated service?

Hello,

I was just checking the New Website hoping for an approval, but it still says Case Received. But now for some reason when clicking on Case History, it shows the message "We received your case" twice and both of them have the same usual message, "Read the notice we mailed you for more information about how we will process your case" etc..

Anyone in the same situation? Just thought it was worth sharing

NOA1: Dec 22nd ( Old), Dec 28th (New).

My fiancé just called and he said he just entered our case number and it gave him an option of “talk to a representative” and he got straight through to a real person. (For the record there is no movement on our case yet 12/26 ).

Congratulations to the approvals so far today, I am excited for you to make the next step!! Let’s hope they keep on a roll.

Distance is no demon,

Often I think it can be a blessing for those in love,

a silent, underappreciated blessing.

It will have no power over us.

When you come stumbling to my door after months, with flowers and wine in hand,

I will be ready.

When I pick you up from the airport, the feeling will be unmatched,

that feeling like birds bursting in song from beneath my lungs,

that feeling unlike any other.

We have to stay strong and remember what is most important;

I love you, and you, me.

The air between us is nothing but a metaphor.

Nothing, not one thing, can come between us.
