To follow up on this issue:

I called USCIS today, as its been 50 days since I received NOA1 and I still can't use my receipt number online (says its invalid).  To my surprise they were very nice on the phone, looked it up for me in their system and confirmed with me my information and my beneficiary's, assuring me that even though I can't track my case, yes they have it, and it is still in the queue.

 

Some piece of mind in this crazy process!

I thought such case specific stats was unavailable, only times I have seen similar things was in monthly statistics, I'd like to know too though if it is possible

Well at least no problem with it.

 

after you I saw at least 3 more people asking it around. So I think that area will just be a dark place for us..  but as long as your info and number matches in their system everything is good! 

 

And this aalso explains why December numbers looked that low..

I think that's something to do with the uscis account.

I have an account on the USCIS website and it shows a date of 01/05/2018 that it was looked at (I think that was logging it in). I also signed up for email and text notifications, but nothing else has happened since 01/05/2018. I pray we do not get an RFE

I tried getting an account there but everytime I try to log in I get an account verification error.

Been going through my stuff today and picked out several books I want to take with me. Its a small box weighing about 40 pounds. Through Fedex that would be 103 euros, almost as much as it would cost me to take it as extra luggage only I don't have to haul it around myself. Are a few books worth 100 euros...

My account also shows last updated  01/05/18. We sent it on the 15th of Dec, they received it on the 19th.

I believe that update is connected to them updating their systems on Jan 5. (they also updated their lists)

I don't think it is connected to any RFE or a real update no worries!

My case says updated jan 5 too.
