Hi all, posting from the February 2018 forum. I dont see many (if any) posts or updates about December 2017 approvals. Any idea how USCIS is progressing and when they are likely to start on January 2018 approvals?

Same deal for the United Kingdom! The NVC Case Number is the golden digits that unlocks a lot. For the United Kingdom after the medical (and after the completion of the DS-160 we have to complete the ‘Notification of Applicant Readiness' form prior to booking an interview. Both medical and embassy require full ACRO police check done. I have mine. No issues.

How exciting to be finally thinking these thoughts in words. Roll on the next 2 weeks before they start January filer. Rooting for a November POE!!! 🎉

We're UK too! Fiance also got a list of his current vaccinations from the NHS since we heard that will help the medical run smoothly. We filed Dec. 26--hoping to hear something soon!

Its difficult to say now that the old database has been taken offline. Last update we see on igor's list was a December 23 filer. Personally I think they start January late next week or the week after.

I’m a little confused about this Dec. 23 approval. December 23 was/is saturday. Do uscis accept petitions on the weekends?

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to say - I think I'm slowly losing my mind.

How overly optimistic do you think a late Aug POE is?

Happy Monday!! I hope you all have a wonderful week. Here's hoping for many, many, MANY approvals.

NOA 2: 08 September 2018

Distance is no demon,

Often I think it can be a blessing for those in love,

a silent, underappreciated blessing.

It will have no power over us.

When you come stumbling to my door after months, with flowers and wine in hand,

I will be ready.

When I pick you up from the airport, the feeling will be unmatched,

that feeling like birds bursting in song from beneath my lungs,

that feeling unlike any other.

We have to stay strong and remember what is most important;

I love you, and you, me.

The air between us is nothing but a metaphor.

Nothing, not one thing, can come between us.

Hey, hey! Think we are the same dates. Old website 26th and 29th on New website. Yes, a patient summary is needed for the medical. It’s more comprehensive and will include vaccinations. Should start to hear something soon (keeping the faith). Regardless, we booked another sneaky trip in August 😍

Oh, that’s so awesome. Hopefully we’ll get approved or RFE’d around the same time lol. Only kidding about the RFE but at this point I’d welcome one with open arms. Daily roll of progressing from Day 182, 183, then we have 185 and NOW Day 188 lmao 😂😂👌

We will definitely get RFE'd :crying: because we forgot to add passport photos to our application (it was all the excitement), but like you say an RFE would be more than welcome as long as there was some kind of movement! My fiance is ready to overnight the response to the RFE as soon as we get it so hopefully it doesn't add too much time.

Dates don't really matter unless of course you want to complete your time line here on VJ and then a guesstimation is fine. All government entities are closed on weekends for servicing visa cases including excepting petitions.

No one can say for sure but they are working on Dec 2017 cases now. If I were to guess maybe another 2-3 weeks they will start with Jan 2018.
