We all knew this was coming one day but it still feels like a slap in the face. The wait is hard enough and now we're left in the dark about what's going on.

I wonder if it has anything to do with people spilling their guts to a USCIS employee and mentioning this forum and the scans. I can't help being a bit bitter about people 'giving away' our 'secret' even though USCIS probably knew long before what was going on. Good chance USCIS doesn't even care about the scans and this has nothing to do with that. Either way. I'm sorry, I'm rambling.

Let's be positive. We still have Igor's list and with the help of all you wonderful people at VJ who fill out their timeline we still have a pretty good idea of what's going on.

Government doesn't work that fast to remove it because of something like that :)

I think it's more of, it costs more money to support to systems. That's more servers, more IT cost, more training cost to train people, more time for workers to complete a task as they had to update multiple things, etc...

They rolled the new website out a few months ago and were most likely jsut waiting to update a few other things internally.

I will run the scans tonight and tomorrow and if still nothing... then I'll check Monday and maybe next Friday for good measure.

We finally got approved!!!!!

December 8th filer. both the apps are still showing up as case received, I received an email notification from the new site at 6am EST stating that  an action was taken on my case. It shows that I was approved yesterday on the 27th. Funny thing about that is I was on the new website around 11pm last night and it still showed up as received.

Its a good thing i signed up for the email notification, this all feels like a dream to me :) I highly recommend checking the new site on a daily basis, don't rely to much on the mobile apps.

Good luck to everyone! Thank you all for all the encouraging words.

Congratssss dear!!! That's so good! Enjoy the newssss ^_^:dancing:

One question everyone, my fiance tried to call USCIS because he changed his mailing address to know if it's everything fine and wanted to check our case. He entered our receipt number but, as the old website says, our case doesn't exist in there. How can we speak to an actual person?

Thank you!!

I was advised by a USCIS rep to go with the date that is on the Receipt letter that was mailed out and not by the one on the website

You should be right around the corner, within the next two weeks. Also try following the Haiti Board as well if you haven't already there's a lot of valuable information on there to what to expect after your NOA2.
