Using terminology such as "hubby" is a form of affection. I get that. But, using that terminology during  your interview causes the CO to ask additional questions and so it could have ugly consequences as in your case being denied. I'm only making this reply because others have been denied, but not all, when they present their love and affection with terms such as hubby or they have shared pictures with the CO that in the beneficiary's mind are of a family celebration but in the eyes of the CO they can depict something close to a wedding. Top that with "hubby" and you will be in front of the CO much longer then the "normal" 5 min. If you search VJ you will see many cases that didn't end well.

Just my experience.  Take it for what its worth.

Thank you for your concern but we have a INS lawyer helping us. I think we should be okay. and oh that nickname is only my way of expressing my joy it's not actually the way I talk. Don't read to much into things people type. But thank you for the heads up. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hi dear! Yep! We got it!

We have received the hard copy of our RFE which requires:

1. Two passport photos of both.

2. Divorce decree of the petitioner.

3. Tick YES or NO in part of Criminal records.

4. Updated Letter of intent to marry within 90 days from the beneficiary (from me).

We are going to figure it out this week.

I reilized my Letter of intent to marry which has been submitted with the petition itslef did not contain an address and the date. So i think maybe that is why they want me to update it in a proper way. So i am excited to complete all those docs mentioned above and submit asap. :)

hope your approval will come soon right away after submission!

Can i send you a direct message please  showing my draft of the Letter?

Yeah sure..I'll wait. :)

Congratulations girl! I knew you could do it.

An RFE is not a bad thing. At least you know they are moving on your case. I'm glad it was a simpel solution. I hope and pray they respond to it quickly and you can move on to NVC

Thanks! Should the intent to marry statement be notarized?
