Don’t worry!!

Our attorney made mistakes too. I’d let USCIS review the petition and seek further information as requested. We are expecting an RFE. AOS we will do ourselves. I see a few errors on our petition, which wouldn’t have happened if we done the application ourselves. Sometimes attorneys are more hindrance. As they are working on December, I’d say just leave it in their hands. Don’t worry. What you pointed out is a concept of common sense which I’m sure they could apply.

Be happy December processing has finally arrived!!

That's unbelievable! My fiancé and I were considering an attorney for AOS but it is very expensive for our current situation, and there is no guarantee that they will do it perfectly. I think they are more prone to make mistakes because they are not emotionally invested as we are, I mean it is our future on their hands... I remember putting my OCD to good practice by checking the I-129f form over and over again. I don't think an immigration attorney would do that for my case.

Now that everyone is getting closer to the time I had a question to anyone that might know the answer.  I am very fortunate to stay with my fiancee until we both go back to the States together but also trying to hurry as fast as possible. Does anyone know how fast it can be possible from noa2 date to interview date and what I can do to speed it up? My embassy will be in Kazakhstan if that makes a difference.

Each country varies. Some will be very quick (less than a month) and others, like mine, can take several months. There is a VJ tool to see others from your country and see their timeline, including those that are in the process right beside you, as well as those who have already completed the process. You will want to sort by those that have completed the process and look at the total number of days between NOA2 and Interview date.

Go to the top blue ribbon and select "portals" and then along the left column scroll down to the last section titled "VJ (your country name) timelines. Select K-1 and you should see a table with all those from your country.

I just contacted USCIS in regards to an ETA and they told me I should have a response before 18 days and or within 2 weeks, rep sounded certain of that information. Hopefully this information is correct, im a December 8th applicant.

Hi! That’s good news. Do you know if that was pertaining to just your case or did the rep answer in general for December applications?

If just for you, what number did you call so that I can also call? Thanks for your help. New to this and trying to get my hands around this!

so now what do i do?

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer.

If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply. Once I see the Embassy country that you are processing through I think I can help you with what is next.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

December Full Scan   6/18   8:10pm CST

62 Updates, 37 Approvals

A few of these are backdated to the 15th, but most are from today.

A decision notice mailed is typically a denial, for those who haven't seen that status before.

Notice Explaining USCIS actions is typically an "intent to deny", or a very strong RFE you need to overcome

You will notice they did creep forward a bit and start on the 14th now.
