December filer here (NAO1 on  15 Dec).  Has anyone been able to see their case status on the USCIS website?  From what I've read, some cases never are able to be accessed until they are approved, while others have updates along the way.  When I check, it continues to say it doesn't recognize the receipt number.  I've accepted this, but its frustrating that I can't link my case to my profile.  Anyone have different luck?

Happy waiting everyone :)

Dec 22 here. Mine works since the day it was received. We got a text message the day the case was received and immediately checked the website.

@Naes and all my other friends. I'm sorry for dropping out on you guys. This week has been really shitty. :( Haven't found much time to be online at all tbh. Let alone keep up with everything.

Thanks sweety. I know exactly why I am grumpy, but I don't want to bring you all down with my old world troubles. IN about 9 months my new life will start and all this will be behind me. Onwards and upwards!

Hello - I’ve been having the same issues with the website (mentioned a few pages back). I called and was told to check again after 45 days from filing, apparently it can take that long to update. They said to call back if it still isn’t showing up then.

Talked to my teddy bear during my break (my mom dubbed him that and it kinda stuck...) and I'm feeling much better. Played Dungeons and Dragons with a group of friends yesterday and we tested a digital system set up where you can play real time online so when I move we can still play. We talked about that for about 40 minutes. He played DnD too, has been a Dungeon Master most of the time. He misses playing the game. So we chatted about setting up a new DnD group when I moved in and that the DnD books would make a great wedding present since he still only has the edition 1 to 3 and we are on edition 5 already. The books are expensive too. Did I mention he got me a new dice set and miniatures for Christmas? I got him a pound of dice and a self made dice pouch. We're such nerds.

Feel a lot better now.

Sorry, just needed to share.

Our planned wedding day is in Boston on October 6th, according to this website its estimated we get our NOA2 mid-Julyish but I'm constantly seeing reports of people taking 10 months plus to be the completion.

Don't put a money on a wedding, don't set anything in stone yet. It may get better but it may also get worse.

yes right now it looks like 10-12 months.

Uhm.... it would definitely make me nervous. I think it's not unachievable, but very risky. I would not put any money down on a date that close. On any date to be honest. That mid-July-ish date keeps sneaking forward (mine started on July 5th and is now on July 15th). And the NVC stage after the USCIS is taking up to 3 months now in some cases. That will bring you halfway October.

Personally (dec 22 filer) I hope to have an August wedding (my parents are wed on Aug 25) but realistically I think we won't have our visa before the 2nd or 3rd week of October.

i'm a dec 21 filer and a noa1 dec 27. and yes i'm kinda hoping to get my dream wedding date which is 8-18-18. it's a very lucky number in fengshui/chinese hertiages/asians like me. but yeah i'm not sure if it's gonna be ready by then. so ust being hopefuly and wishful thinking but open minded and know it's probably gonna be later. but yeah at this point it's anyone's game. could be early/later.

I'm a September filer and I just moved my wedding date from July 28 to August 18.

i hope things will pick up but it is not realistic for December yet.

yup i know it's not realistic at this point. but i just like the date because of its significance of triple 8's and luck and it's nice to look at 8-18-18 and i just really liked this date even from last year. i dunno some asians the numbers are important for them. but yeah... like i said it's anyone's game. the uscis could start filing faster and could affect later filers... or they can suddenly stop being quick again or whatever or continue their slow pace. uscis is just a wild card. so i can be positive and hopeful... because its always nice to be positive... but then be open minded that its probably not ready by then. which i said also on my previous post. if it's not, then it's not.

Oh I'm all for that :)

I'm also all positive and hopeful! I am not going to feel sad for something that didn't happen yet. I refuse to go negative about this process :)

i just meant in a way to put money on it yet .

oh  yeah gotcha. yes, money part yeah no on setting anything on stone. in i'll be most likely having a wedding first in the us naval base chapel in san diego. so that's free. hahaha. and for reception it's probably just some restaurant in san diego. so it's ok to plan ahead and no costs will be incurred. the us navy if flexible too since they know their people are always on call.

but my fiance's mom wants us  to have a wedding in st. louis. i checked for venues already. but yes not like we got any. i'll book those later once i have a us embassy interview confirmed and all. but i've been happily been busy preparing for my wedding from here. like the "props" and then i'll just bring it there to america. so whenever i need to get to america. it's already done.

so in this picture are my bachelorette sailor hats for my "last sail before the veil" and our sashes. then our fascinators that go with the gowns for the entourage. i also got hangers and then those robes with the names stitched at the back and the bow tie, cufflinks and hangky set. he already has his own suite and my gown. but my gown is currently having some beadwork added. i'll be getting some bowties for the rest of the groomsmates and first mate later on and their suspenders. so i'm pretty much using this time while waiting in a happy way. keeps me busy and focused and not minding the distance so much. i'm having a great time planning it out. hahaha. and i'm also diy-ing everything too so keeps the budget real cheap. not to mention buying and getting stuff done here are far way cheaper than in america. so i'm hoping it will be a breeze by the time i get there.
