My timeline moved forward an additional week... Is this really accurate or just because people are not updating their timelines ? I am dec 11 on the old and dec 14 on the new... can anyone predict if they go in fashionable order when I should expect something?

Thanks everyone. Best of luck.

I think it's because it goes off timelines people are entering, but they processed November out of order, they started with the last half of the month and went back to the first half... it should adjust again as they finish up November in the next week or two.  Even stuff, there are always people who take longer, so it's only a rough estimate at best.  figure from the day they start, almost everyone should be done in 2 months time. so either in June or July you should have an answer, depending on where you land in the month - and if they continue frm the beginning.

At least for December they appear to have started with the 1st, so that's a good start.

hey,

just wondering how how you know if your case is filed new or old lol...

and also guys, what’s the expiry of the application? since it suggests beneficiaries write a letter of request for extension of the application?

For future reference and any others who are wondering. Your case should have been registered on both systems (some fluke cases appear to only have been put in the new database though). It has no consequence for your processing times whatsoever. The only difference is is that sometimes they update your case in the new and sometimes in the old and sometimes in none. So when you check if your case has been approved check both old and new website!

An extension is only  needed after your noa2. Your noa2 is valid for either 4 or 6 months (need to look it up). If you need longer than that to do your medical and interview you need to ask for an extension.

Thanks everyone. Best of luck.

As driven said it's changing because November filers are very accurate with updating their timeline. When they started processing the last week's of November our timelines jumped forward because people were getting approved earlier than predicted. Now that they are processing the first weeks of November, the timelines are changing back cause the starting weeks of November took longer than  predicted.

Usually go timelines are very accurate. I heard on average people get their noa2 within 5 days of the vj estimate. But they are an estimate, some will get them much sooner, others will get them much later.

All we can do is have patience and wait.

OMG I should not have jumped onto the forums today.  I am extremely happy to see December Approvals already started but I am also feeling anxious now to receive our notice.  On top of this I am waiting on confirmation on wither I will be getting a new position I interviewed for Friday or not.  Here is hoping that June is the month of great change for all of us and goes smoothly.

They've only just started touching December last Friday. 5 approvals and an rfe on Dec 1, and 1 rfe on Dec 8.

Once Monday rolls around we will see how the month developes, it's too early to really tell.

I See there's a 7 December approval. I think the one's in the new system won't show on the scan's. :)

I hope you're right. I will keep running the scans and see how they go. For now all we can do is keep an eye on the new system approvals that are reported here on VJ and see how they match up with the scans. I hope they have migrated to the new system and we are just not picking it up anymore on the scans.

Well the only way to know is to find out. My WAC number does not exist in the "old" website but does in the "new". I am a bit worried but not too worried because we did receive a Notice letter for 14th December. All we can do it wait and see what happens. I really hope that this Old and New website thing won't have a impact on our approval. I really really hope for good news soon. We all do. :)
