ROC question (split)

Nice assembly of documents.. very organized. I do have a question and I guess this is for anyone else who might also have an input. I am still preparing and gathering evidences for our ROC as well. I was wondering, how much balance or deposit should we have in our joint bank account? We have our own individual accounts but have a joint bank account that we use to pay for bills, church contribution and to send funds to each other. We probably only have an average of $1000 as monthly deposits through that account. We do have bank statements that goes back to date of our marriage and each statements has at least 10 transactions per month (usually 15 or more). Is that going to be okay? I just hope that they don't send us RFE's for not combining our entire finances. We prefer to do things this way, less fights and helps us keep an accounting of our expenses.

I think you will be ok. I do not think they care about the amount of deposits, transactions, withdrawals, or bank balance.

I believe they care about activity; you are making deposits, paying bills, or making purchases with the join account.

As long as you are using the joint account frequently throughout the month, every month. It shows the proof of your marriage and relationship.

Best to show statements from opening of account to current, that is what I did for my ROC packet.

Thank you so much for your confirmation and input 👌🏻👌🏻 Yes, every month our joint bank account is actively used (may not be for every purchases) but it does show activity. We opened it on the same month we got married. I think it's the only document we have that actually goes back to the month of our marriage aside from photos and wedding cards mailed to us as our other documents were started a couple of months later. I was not added to our lease until I got my ssn and DL, and that happened like after 5 months after marriage and we didn't even get home renters insurance until like a year later when we wisened up..Lol
