I know it hurts, we were in AP for 16 months then denied a K1, I traveled overseas to get married but the idiots changed their rules on
marriage rules /requirement even though we had it all researched before I left. Flew back home with my wedding dress and carried my 
flower bouquet in my back pack lol. 
Filed for another K1 which was approved. 
Been there done that, so I understand. Soon it will all be a memory and you will be together, hang in there, it took us 5 years to be together.
Happily married for 3 years now. AOS was another nightmare but it's all good now. 
We met in 2009 and had a very long journey.

There were many returned due to this issue.

That had to be it because the questions asked were basic. Also, we both have never been married, no kids, this is our 1st K1 case, clean background around the same age hes 28 am 31 and we are from  the same country africa  ghana to be exact. And i make enough to support the both of us...so that gotta be it.

Omg ur case is nothin compare to urs. I would have gone crazy!!!! 5 year holy cow!!!!!! What rules did they change on married??

It was not his country but a third country where he was residing and studying, it is really too long of a story to type. I made a thread about it and

it should be here somewhere on VJ but it's been so long. I really want to forget about it all before I have nightmares tonight lol.

Question: My fiance is about to  lease an apartment for 2 years in Ghana. My question is,.....is it ok for him  to add my name to the lease even tho i live in the states?  (Dont want anymore problems with CO at the embassy)

 

However, ill be living there whenever am in ghana to see him.

Depends on how often you go there and how long you are staying otherwise it just looks weird. Better to add you to land or property he owns.

EAD/AP (renewal) approval Aug 22, 2016, NOA2 received Aug 25, 2016

Renewal EAD in production notification text and online, expedite successful 4 days after RFE request response was faxed, Aug25mailed,Aug29received.

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

Yea, wasnt sure abt that. I will be there in April for 2 weeks (wedding) , 1 week in October then 1 week for his interview. I think is best if he add only his name.....dont wanna over kill again lol
