I agree with you on this. I am even thinking of asking help from the Governor if I can but not sure if it works on ROC. I remembered someone I know got a help before but that was her AOS. 

Right now I just checked CSC processing and it says as of September 30, 2017 they're working on July 27, 2016. I'm not sure if they are doing it right because the last time I checked they were working on Aug 3rd applicants and now it went back to July.

The slowdown of I-751s actually started a year ago, not 9 months... from the end of October 2016 (which was posted in January) to the end of December 2016 (posted in March) the I-751 dates stayed at May 14th.

So while I'm sure that any workload transfers affecting CSC weren't helped by a giant influx of files from VSC, the problem had already started.

If it was a year then it sounds like people panicked just before the election before immigration laws got tightened up.  Which makes sense.  Still one complete shambles though and still makes me wonder why CSC slowed down and VSC did not.  I wonder what was filed at CSC that was not in VSC?  Meaning which petition are CSC working on that VSC or not to make them slow down?  We would have to compare both service centres and all petitions vs how many staff they have to deal with it all to find out the real answer.

H1Bs (work visas) only get processed at CSC... and the GOP keeps threatening to end them. People who file for H1B (the application window starts in April) are supposed to have their visa in hand and be able to start work in October which gives USCIS only 6 months to process and issue these visas.

Wow, you guys excellent analytics!  previous post makes total sence, just wonder why h1b would be a priority over i 751. 

Now we starting to see so many threads about "divorce while 751 pending" because a lot can happen during 1,5 years leaving people wonder what's going to happen now with their petitions smh

Everything gets preference over I-751s, since we have status to live and work in the US throughout the process. Pretty much every other petition either keeps people from entering (or working in) America until they are approved.
