Can I ask if anyone has/ is currently experiencing the same thing as me regarding my case (I-130, Petition for Alien Relative)? My step mother who is a US citizen filed a I-130 petition for me on June 2016. Here is my current timeline:

NOA1: July 07, 2016

Priority Date: July 05, 2016

*Case was received at Local Office: January 12, 2016

And after that Nothing... no updates or anything. When I check my case status it's always the same "Case was recieved at Local Office". I cannot schedule an infopass as I live in the Philippines and it's a 6-7 hour drive just to get to US  embassy in my country (plus I'm a minor and my mom would not allow me to travel there if we are not sure of what to do or what will happen). Also, my step mother and father have no intention of going to the Field Office where my case was transferred because they are focusing on my older sister who was approved on May this year. They only told me to wait because it will arrive anyway.

I'm really worried about my case as I found out that the Normal Processing time for it is supposedly 5-12 mos? It's been over 18 months now since they filed it and I don't know what to do.

Hi. Have you tried calling USCIS? At this point you should have received the NOA2.

My father did a few months back. They just told him to wait for it (but its been so long >_<!) . I also sent a service request where they replied "blah blah blah we are unable to determine at this time when the review process for your I-130 will be completed. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 60 - 90 days you may contact National Service Line". Which I guess was good news, I did not reach 60 days yet, but something is kinda fishy that it's taking them so long to review my case... I'm very worried that something went wrong and they would tell me to wait a long time again after 60 - 90 days...

I'm really sorry to hear about the delay. But it's good that your father called them. At this point all you can do is wait the 60-90 days. Unfortunately, immigration procedures are taking very long, and it becomes a waiting game. However, make sure to not let more than 90 days pass. Your case must be stuck somewhere and has not been reviewed. With the request made by your father, they will search for it an I'm sure it will be fine. Did your dad by any chance change address?

Thank you! I really hope that everything would work out. My father once applied for a citizenship in the local office 7-8 yrs ago but they denied him and my step mother's petition for me and my sisters. They gave them a hard time and my father only got his US citizenship last year after it was settled on court. I don't know why my sister got hers first even though the supposed waiting time for her is 2 years cause she has aged out but her file was processed in the Main Office (my father calls it)? She already has a Visa while I still dont have my NOA2. I have this feeling that the local field office is giving my parents a hard time again...

And no, they did not change their address...
