Hi guys,

My case was approved 11/07/2017 and I have been calling the NVC but they said they haven't received the approval from USCIS yet.

Any idea how long does it usually take? USCIS said 30 days in the notice.

Thanks

About 4-6 weeks at the moment

thank you, very helpful. I think it will be good if you can add a column in the google doc for the service center where the case was approved.

99% of k1s are going to California service center other than some cases with additional background checks.

if your k1 number starts with wac it means it's California. And as far as we know everybody starts with wac at this moment.

oh and good luck, I hope everyone will get their number soon and this is just a temporary backlog..

Can you advise what to do if the petition still hasn't been received by the NVC after 6 weeks from the approval date.

okay thank you. does the approval expiration date only applies to the NVC to create a case number or do we have to schedule the interview at the U.S embassy prior to the NOA2 expiration date.

in other words, what's that expiration date for the approval notice used for?

Normally it was to schedule the interview. But if it expires due to uscis backlog they are going to give a new expiration date. You should really start checking those topics cause all of this is being talked there.
