Hi! Sorry my bad English.
I’m a American citizen, I was living outside the USA since I was 4 years old. I returned to USA last year (September/2016), and I want to bring my fiancé and her 2 kids. I have worked a lot this year, and for now, I will have a little more than the amount of income required to bring her (when I do the taxes for 2017).
A friend invited me to go next week to your house, where I would stay by 3 weeks.
I can take a vacation, but I will not get paid.
If I have the amount of income required for the fiancé visa, it’s ok, or earning more money in 2017 is better?

How far over the income requirement are you already this year?  If you are close then you may want to go for the more income

YMMV
