I didn't make that up. Google or Merriam-Webster is your friend:

Also, connotation depends on view on things.

I can't find violence anywhere in the definition of an activist. :bonk:

lol this girl is a known provocateur and even people in the Arab and Muslim world praised this soldier all over the internet for doing nothing.

"If she did that to a soldier in the army of an Arab state, she would be arrested and her whole family from the big to the small," surfer Fadi al-Ajha wrote in response to a Facebook post on the subject. "Of course it's a sad thing, but if she attacked a soldier in an Arab country and slapped him in the face, what would that soldier do to her?" Added Surfer Thakri.

A surfer named Muhammad Ahmad, who lives in Syria, wrote: "You say that Israel is oppressing, she hit a soldier and he did not do anything to her." "I swear to God that if such a thing happened to us in Syria, she and her family would disappear from the world," Ahmed added. "Her behavior is provocative and the Israeli soldier was more patient than the prophet Ayyub," added surfer Azu Elhosen.

Exactly.  I know very little about the politics of the situation,  but Helen Keller could have seen that was a one sided article.

Probably wasting my time but to make it clear just a shame that something that WAS a positive term has changed.

I'm sorry if you feel like you're wasting your time, but again that is your interpretation and has to do with YOUR. own views.

It doesn't matter what they would have done to her in any other Arab country or what other Arabs or Israelis say about her. If they think it's normal ( and apparently you support that way of thinking by posting those quotes) to make a family "disappear" ,doesn't mean other people support that.

What matters is what is happening now there to here and other people in that village.  Why are they protesting every week? What is the soldier doing on the families property? There is more to that picture then a girl hitting and screaming at a soldier.

"Nabi Salih's residents have hosted weekly demonstrations for three years in protest at the confiscation of the village's lands and the takeover of their spring by the nearby Israeli settlement, Halamish.["

That was the point, but still you won't find the word violence in the definition of the word activist.  The moment an activist commits an act of violence, they stop being an activist and start being a criminal.

The part of the Red Crescent worker was indeed interesting.

But let me ask you this, what would you do if you wake up one day and you see someone has build a house in your backyard? Would you let them be?

Is it property you own or is one just mad about something political or ideological?

Read about it. Then you will see whether it's owned or just because of political or ideological ideas.

Google on illegal settlements.
