So you were able to come in as a tourist for 6 months after consular processing was started? I thought it is almost impossible because coming in as a tourist there should be no immigration intent? And consular processing already shows intent?

No, i came with my kids in april 2015, my husband summited paperwork i130 in feb 2015, when i came i didnt have anything yet. After i arrived, my i130 was approved.  I didnt have plans to stay because i knew that for being a LPR wife i could not have over stay. When i was about to go back, 2nd charter appeared at vusa bulletin  , i went to 1 infopass to ask  if i could adjust status, IO said NO , then IO called us to make an other infopass because he gave us wrong information. When we went to our 2nd infopass he gave me all instructions forma and fees that we have to do for adjusting status.
