It sounds like Montreal uses email for almost everything. My fiance has a different mailing address from when we started. If we use his current mailing address on the Montreal forms, will his visa be mailed to the correct address after the interview?

We just did this and we're hoping they accept.. How long did it take for them to get back to your email??

Do you have updates about your P3? I am waiting for ceac to say ready and I want to do the exact process you guys are doing.

We haven't received it yet, though we have been told to wait so far, haha! We'll probably re-send it on Monday after it's been a week

When he signs up on the website for courier services, he should make sure his current address is on there.

Anyone know how we pay the $265 visa fee (I may have gotten the exact amount wrong)? We've scheduled an interview... which we found out we have to push out the same freaking day, but we weren't prompted to pay anything?

I think you can pay for it on this website, but that might only be if you haven't booked already (book and pay at the same time on this website). Otherwise I believe you can pay in person at the interview.

My fiance is filling up the ds-160 today.

Questions:

1. Petition/receipt number is the WAC** number right?

2. National Identification Number: does not apply?

3. Intended date of arrival: we put our expiration date on noa2 as we dont have any idea when can she come here?

4. Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf?

-fiance was part of a family visa before but was not able to be included during processing as she was already over 21y/o. Visa was done by her grandparents to her dad but that was long time ago.Is this considered a “yes” ?

or “no” because she was not included when her family immigrated here last year?

any answer is appreciated.

Nooope, haven't even received the Packet 3 yet. We either have to plan ahead to book travel since he's Manitoban (risking them cancelling our interview/not being able to go to medical) or wait and pay $$$ more. We picked the former poison, but I'm confident we'll receive it all before he does his medical, at least :)

Questions:

1. Petition/receipt number is the WAC** number right? Its the MTL number you get from NVC

2. National Identification Number: does not apply? I put my SIN number, but I read varying things about this (people either put SIN or left blank)

3. Intended date of arrival: we put our expiration date on noa2 as we dont have any idea when can she come here? I put May 1, 2018 but obviously that's not going to happen lol

4. Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf?

We booked both :)

I honestly can't remember about your first question.. We may have done it wrong, but one would think it forces you to use the right number because of formatting issues? Maybe I'll run through the process again without submitting..

We didn't put anything for ID

A general date is fine, they can't expect us to be exact at this point :)

I'm honestly not sure about the last one. Was her name ever mentioned in any paperwork at all?

Thanks for the answers. The receipt number is quite confusing.

Some said WAC, others NVC.

My fiance said “no” to paperworks so we will stick with no.

So what is your interview date then?

Did you see vacant slots for May or June?

I really want to be done by June.

I think we did the WAC number and we'll probably keep it as that..

There are vacant slots from the 1st-8th of May currently and we booked ours on May 8th. But, we'll be moving it to early June, since Zak had a work situation come up.. So that'll also open up when we move it, hopefully
