Yes. My wife didn't receive the physical letter either. Print it. They just wanna see your case number and verify that you are who you say you are, that's the entire point of bringing most of the documents to the interview.

My beneficiary had his interview today. We both arrived at 7:30 am, our appointment was at 8:30 but they let us in. We walked because our Airbnb was across the street, it was snowing but we didn’t have to wait outside like some others have mentioned. They gave us our number and list for document order and we were both sent to a smaller room and then went in the elevator upstairs— I’ve seen some people mention only beneficiary goes upstairs but we were both able to.

When upstairs we put documents in order while we waited. We were #10 and it took 30 minutes before he was called to the first window where he handed over his papers. We didn’t have a photo copy of birth certificate or passport so he paid $2usd for the photocopies. We waited another 30 minutes and he was called to another room with a window where they asked the interview questions which took 4 minutes total. He said he can’t remember all of them but they asked how we met, what our parents thought about our relationship, when we knew we wanted to get married, what my job is, and when we planned on getting married. He said the interviewer was very nice and even told him at the end it was ok to cry when he teared up. Then he was handed the pink paper and approved! It was stressful but an amazing weight off the shoulders when it was over. All in all it took 1.5hrs

@BananaButton5 what Air bnb was it? I love to find a good place to stay that was not super expensive but nice.

It was 456 Rue de la Gauchetière! It was nicely decorated, wonderful view of St. Peter’s Basilica and so close to the consulate, only issue for us was that it was a bit noisy at night but it was ok for just the couple nights we stayed. It cost ~$100 per night and parking was available which was nice because we rented a car and drove from Ottawa. It definitely made it easier to be close to the consulate.

Can't remember exactly but mine was a few weeks ago and it was either $466.00 or $486.00.  I didn't have to get any extra shots there, so that total doesn't include them if you need to get one or two of them there.  Also, if you are paying in cash, you need to have the exact amount because they will not make change for you.

Medisys/Horizon Medical Review: We called on January 14th, he asked when the interview was (February 20th), then said "okay, then your appointment should be on February 13th". We provided a number and email, a few minutes after the call we received an email with our appointment details, plus some additional helpful information.

We arrived in the morning (our appointment scheduled for 7:30am), we approached the desk and confirmed the appointment. The lady asked for a few things, then we sat down and there were some forms to fill out. There wasn't that many people at all, the first time my fiance was called in was for blood, weight, and blood pressure. The worse part was getting blood drawn from the nurse. She couldn't find a vein in the left arm, so my fiance suggested his right since he had blood drawn from it a few weeks ago. He had it hurt like hell and after she was done with it and we had to go wait back in the waiting room, he was telling me how sore his injection site was on his right arm. (Throughout the day, it started to bruise and the next day the bruise looks pretty nasty. Over the next few days the bruise started traveling up his arm like a line.) He then had a chest x-ray done, had to provide a urine sample, had his blood pressure taken 1-2 more times. Once he saw the doctor, she asked him some questions. He was called and sent back to the waiting room multiple times and throughout the appointment, the waiting room became pretty packed. The whole thing took about an hour and a half to two hours. Our appointment was on Wednesday and his results were ready on Monday.     TIP: I suggest making your appointment early as possible, so its not packed and crazy.      (My Consulate review is in the actual consulate review section).

Weird comment: I read your consulate review. I was interviewed in August and my CO was a little, slightly pregnant, Asian lady. She was so nice and I often wonder if she had her baby yet. Can you ask your F if he had her as a CO? Would just be nice to know if shes still there although shes probably on Maternity leave now. ❤

In your medical exam are you asked by the physician if you've ever tried drugs in your life?

No, you’re only asked if you’ve ever had problems with drugs or alcohol in the past.
