Any more available interviews for August? Have they opened September dates?

Seems like they release dates at the end of the month for the second month in advance. So September will be released at the end of July.

It went well.  We've been together for a long time (since 2011) and lived together for a couple years so it was easy. Basic questions related to how you met, what fiance does for a living, travels together, etc. I could hear alot of 'we met online, we met online, we met online.....' I found it a bit surprising you can hear other people's interviews going on. Not so much privacy. Also, when people come out of their interview, it's pretty obvious who passed and who didn't so that's a bit ackward. Overall, great experience!

that's great feedback! Did they have your 129f in front of them while interviewing? Did they ask about wedding or marriage plans?

Not that I know of. They didn't ask me about wedding plans. Mostly international travel together, my fiance's career in the military and his job now with the Federal government. They asked about how we met, the places we've travelled together, where we've lived together. I think every question is geared to the interviewee. I could hear alot of people say 'ive never travelled anywhere' so obviously their line of questioning would be different

Question: If I need to reschedule my interview to a later date, what is the procedure? Do we call them and say we need such and such date (knowing that K1 interviews are on Wednesdays)?

You press "reschedule" on the AIS website. I've been told you lose your original date as soon as you press that link though, so like I said in our PM, I would he wary about rescheduling unless you absolutely have to because you cannot attend the original one you have booked.

This process in Canada isn't about what is convenient or early enough for the applicant. It's about you getting an appointment as soon as you can and cherishing it with your life.
