You know the deal dude.  Saudization is in full replacement mode and each consulate is worried that you're working on an escape to the US and not coming back.  Happens a lot, and its getting worse.  Good luck.

Thank you.. some of my friend says that, applying from overseas where you are currently working are better comparing to your home country.. but i think all are the same.. we cannot really predict the result...

How can you even think about marrying someone you have never even met. Guess some people are just weird.

it can be..some people started their relationship online and when they met, they get married. If you haven't heard such things,  its for you to research for couples on their first meeting. my friend got married to her German husband.. they started their love story online, instant chatting always everyday, skype and they arranged their marriage in their meeting and now they are happy living together...

Its not weird..it depends on the couple how their relationship is going and what are their plans together.. there are even arranged marriage when you are a muslim.. that you will just see your husband/wife on the day of the marriage itself.. are you saying it was weird??

A GC is on offer.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

You have not read on replies regarding this plan.. we have decided to met only in Canada and right after meeting, he will go back to LODI and I will go back here in Saudi.. and he will start to apply for K1 visa..

your replies are actually kind a bit of insulting...

u trying to f with us immigration and asking us citizens on VJ for help is insulting.

I've always wondered, how come so many people from certain developing countries always find their loved ones (from a developed country) on the internet.

I have some friends also here in saudi and they were granted by u.s visa...having same situation as mine.. almost the same yrs in service, single, families in phi and no relatives in U.S... and their travel history is not good as mine.. we can not really tell why we get denied... only CO knows.

Don’t get insulted, but interviewing (& CBP) officers are trained to look for cues about when people are lying.  Judging by what you’ve posted on VJ, you were certainly at least not telling the full story about your intentions for visiting the US, and the CO probably picked up on that. I doubt it’s enough for a refusal in itself, but adds to overall scepticism about the professed reason for visiting. As I said way back bedore I knew all this boyfriend stuff , it sounded like you wanted to look for a job.

I did it.  10 1/2 years and two kiddos ago.  It's been great for us.  Interested in seeing your comment to me about that.  It's a slow weekend.

And this is pretty classic.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

There have been a few of those came through here.

I'm seeking that elusive answer to "A GC is on offer" that seems to come up time and time again.  Interesting to hear that on a board of people who "offered green cards" as if that's the only transaction that explains these marriages and as if it matters at all.  WE get our spouses green cards so we can all live in the same place together.  If polled I suspect a high percentage of the immigrants on this board would probably prefer to live in their home countries.

It isn't our immigrant spouses who need (or want) the bells and whistles and puppet shows that are all part of our American life.  It's us.  LOL

And in this case?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
