Hey, don't you have a boyfriend in California? It seems that you do. Did you mention about him in your application? This could be of the reasons. As the CO, I'd think that you'll stay with your American boyfriend (who, by the way, is American citizen) and will try to adjust status from your tourist visa.

Your also want to marry him. Probably, by visiting as a tourist, riiight? ;)

So the CO was right denying you. No visa for you. Want to marry? Ok, and then CR1.

Would have been helpful if the whole story was told by the OP in the beginning.

Makes sense why you were denied twice, now.

CO's are generally very smart people, and can pick up on misrepresentation pretty quick.

Ah well, there you go it’s good that your tourist visa is denied then and you should get your other half to petition you for the correct visa.

Being misleading to the CO about his intent, AND never having met his "BF"?  He's got an uphill climb with this one.

first of all, you have a high obstacle to climb as a single filipino applying for a b1/b2. having traveled to a lot of other first world countries helps increase your chances. but some COs want a long travel history, some are satisfied with just one or two, it depends. looked like your CO may have wanted the former hence the first denial. you were on the right track in traveling to more countries after that first denial. you should have given it more time and slowly built up your travel history. but then you went and applied again so soon after (first try in july, second try in nov) and with no material changes to your circumstances. hence the 2nd denial. your additional travel in between does not matter. the other unused visas don't matter either as at this stage they look more like they are for show to get the US visa. if you disclosed anywhere in your application your US based boyfriend, then that could have worked against you too.

the CO does not need to see your passport or documents during the interview at all. they have all the info they need from your application form to make a decision. i think the worst thing you did here is applying too soon after that first denial. it sends off the signal that you are too desperate for the visa. applying soon again (even in 2018) unless something major changes in your circumstances will mostly result in a 3rd denial.

Any particular type?

How could anyone who chatted over the internet possible commit marriage upon the first real life meet-up?!

That is like ordering an 8,000 dollar high heel from bergdorfgoodman dot com with no return allowed.

Definitely focussed.

I was wondering how long this was going to run, also party to the other thread.

This guy has dotted his Is and crossed the Ts..or so he thought.

Why go thru the process to get a visa from Canada and the UK and not go? Sounds like someone did some research and was trying to backdoor

Hi. I get a visa from UK&Canada but I never expect that it will be approved..since it was approved, I will definitively  visit these countries before 2018 ends.. backdoor is not on my mind.... it will just ruined my travel history...

oh wait there's more to this story - wants to marry an american and move here

so much for no intention to immigrate

Hi.. yes, i have american bf.. if my b2 visa was granted i will definitely see him.. but since, we have not met in person only videocalling and fb chats, I didn't mention that I will visit my bf.. somehow it might complicate my B2 application... so since, I get canada visa, thats why we gonna met and enjoy our company there..later on we can decide what we can do next in the legal way..
