Flying Into A Different State Than Petitioner?

When I flew to the US last year to visit my fiance, I actually made a stop in Chicago first for an event and to visit some friends for 5 days before flying on to Pittsburgh where he picked me up to drive down into WV.

I was just wondering, if I did the same again this year (as it's looking light it might line up perfectly for me to do the same thing, I'd LOVE to attend this event), will I raise any suspicion by flying to an airport that's nowhere near where my spouse listed on the K-1 is living? After a few days, I'll be flying back from there to Pittsburgh for him to pick me up. Is that all cool? Or would they think it's weird that I'm coming to America to be with someone, and then flown to another part of the country?

Show both legs of the trip. "They" don't overthink this nearly as much as you do. It's cool.

It shouldn’t matter.  If asked at immigration just tell them the truth although I doubt they will ask.
