I got RFE about 3 weeks ago USCIS is questioning the maternity of my son. I responded to my lawyer by sending oir early pictures and all the evidences that i have but the lawyer is insisting i do a DNA to settle the case. DNA is expensive and i can't afford it. I just told him to use what we have..i pray iy works

We included a lot of evidence at the uscis stage so as to avoid the need for DNA test for our son. Β We included my antenatal card showing all my hospital visits during pregnancy, ultrasound scans ( 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester), all hospital receipts from birth to about a month before sending the i130, vaccination records which showed myΒ name, my husband's name and our son's name.Β baptismal records which showed our 3 names, his birth certificate which showed our names, flights records showing our 3 names, and lots of pictures from the day he was born to about a month before sending the i130. Hope this helps

Hi everyone!! Wow I love when I come here and see good news everywhere, it brightens my spirit!!! Congratulations to all approved and moving on, I wish you all the best at the interview stage, it isn't easy but I know the wait will be totally worth it in the end! πŸ’–β€

Β

I'm still waiting on Nebraska. I've been so busy with work and picking up extra shifts, I need a vacation soon 😭

Β

Is anyone else still waiting on Nebraska or any other center?

Β

PD December 28thΒ

NOA 1 January 3rd

NOA 2 still waiting, hopefully soon πŸ™

We’re atill waiting on NebraskaΒ Service Center.Β

Β

Priority Date: DECEMBER 8th

Β

We organized all the paperwork and evidence very well and labeled everything. I have no idea why it’s taking so long. In a couple of weeks I will submit an β€œoutside normal processing time” request if it doesn’t get approved before then.Β

Β

Praying they approve it and SOON!!

How long after Noa2 does USCIS forward the petition? My case was approved 14th of this month. Case status says Approved still, when does it change to sent to DOS/NVC?

Β

I'm at Nebraska service centreΒ

Β

Β

It took around 15-20 days for me. Hopefully you will see an update on USCIS website before this month end. :) Good luck.

After about 10 phone calls to USCIS, checking case status every hour, refreshing email, checking my texts, and contacting congressman we were finally approved from Texas Service Center on the 20th of August after a 248 day wait. No RFE just straight approval, but 248 DAYS! I feel very happy but i can't help but feel slightly angry seeing all these cases that were filed MONTHS after mine getting approved. My case had reached "outside of normal processing time" and when i called to fill out an inquiry with a Tier 1 agent i was told that my case was approved. If anyone is in a similar situation i highly suggest checking the processing times on the USCIS website, if your case has been pending for about 7 months without an RFE more than likely its heading towards approval, at least in my experience.

Congratulations! Wow TSC, I thought Nebraska was the only one with crazy delays. I'm still waiting on approval from Nebraska, today is day 238. I'm very hopeful and trusting GodΒ

According to the USCIS processing times website Nebraska is taking 7 to 9.5 months for approval, as of today the current receipt date for case inquiry is November 26th, 2017. According to your timeline i believe your PD is January 3rd, 2018 and if i did my math right your case should approve on or before October 3rd.

I have waited for 224 days so you are not the only one that waited longer than most people here.

My PD is actually December 28, while NOA 1 is January 3rd. If God wills it for October, I'll acceptΒ even though it's a long wait.Β I waited all my life to meet my soulmate.Β I'll keep trusting God, this process will surely be completed in our favor πŸ™
