Good news! We were approved! No email or text. I check the old website this morning and no updates. The new website said “we approved your case”  as of May 23rd! Fingers crossed for everyone else! I’m

Hi guys,

 

      I am Indian born US citizen living in US and my wife lives in Belize. I got married to my wife in Texas in Oct 2018 who is a born Belizean. I hired an attorney and he filed our i130 petition on Dec 22 2017. It was sent by mail since it had originals in it (filing fee check, passport pictures). I know it was submitted right before Christmas so hanging in tight and looking forward for NOA1. Hope this all goes smoothly. 

I check this thread once in a while and it feels good to see so far other people's process is going smoothly. Finally decided to make an account to share my progress as well :)

Hi everyone, season's greetings! So I created this thread on December 5th and I just finally submitted the application yesterday the 26th. It took weeks to get everything together but I'm glad I took my time.

 

I submitted: i130, i130a, g1145, copy of marriage certificate, copy of divorce decree, copy of joint ownership of land property, copy of joint leasing agreement, copy of joint bank account, wedding and vacation pictures, 3 court sworn affidavit statements of bona fide marriage from 3 of our closest friends and family, call and chat records, proof of US citizenship (sent copies of both US passport and certificate), check for $535, passport photographs.

 

I stay in Texas and mailed through FedEx to Phoenix, should get there on Friday. Good luck everyone! 💞

I haven't received any notifications yet. My guess is if we don't get any today then it'll be after the 1st of January. Where did you mail to?
