We didn't send a copy of our marriage certificate in a foreign language ! we only sent the translated one !! does that mean a RFE  ?

You supposed to send both original and translation.

Do you think our lawyer could send the missing document before they do anything  ?

I don't know but ask him if he can. It is best to wait. Because, if you're actually missing anything, they will tell you exactly where to send them. Remember to check the new site for any update.

I just got my NOA2 in the mail today and realized my case was at Potomac service center the whole time.. Not sure why I thought it was Nebraska at first. Either way, my case was approved 217 days after the NOA1.

Hey guys! Just to give some hope... I woke up this morning to a wonderful approval for our I-130. Our NOA-1 was 12/27/17 with a NOA-2 approval date of 7/16/18, Nebraska service center. I stressed for months as we did not send any evidence of a bonafide marriage; pictures, flights, letters, etc It was approved anyhow. So for those of you worried about sending a ton of proof, it’s not always necessary. :) We did not expedite our case either.

Thank you! We hired a lawyer to help with the I-130 part, not that we had any special reason to do so, I just didn’t want to mess up and add any time. They never had us submit anything as evidence. It wasn’t until after the packet was mailed that I found this sight and read about all the tons of evidence that people were submitting and then I got worried. I will agree that I believe all lot of it depends on where the beneficiary is at. Fortunately, we didn’t get a RFE and I’m counting myself blessed. I have read about other people saying they didn’t send any evidence either and also got approvals. As we all know, the processing centers are a mystery in their workings... :)
