Hi all, first time posting here. My case is at the Nebraska SC with PD of December 7. It's been 218 days since they've received it and I'm becoming more concerned if there's been an issue each day. When I called, there's only the automated message speaking and says the last activity with my case is them mailing the I-797, which I received. Should I be concerned or is this delay expected? Thank you!

Hi, I was in your same shoes not too long ago! My case was also in Nebraska with a priority date of Dec.04, what I did was that last week (July 05) I submitted a case inquiry via email through the new website. Since it wouldn’t let me do the option for case outside processing times bc it was still within the regular time frame I did the inquiry stating that I did not receive my aproval letter. Now, i don’t know if that worked in them taking a look at my case or not but a week later I received an email saying that my petition had been approved that same day I received the email (July 10). Two days after that my online status changed from approved to sent to department of state.

Hi guys, I just checked on the new site https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ and my case was approved July 11, 2018.

Nebraska Service Center

 

The old sire did get the update yet. Guys keep on checking both.

Hi Everyone, 

 

I need some advice. 

So at long last we finally got our NVC Case number and Invoice number. BUT we are kind of skeptical because the email is from "National_Visa_Center@state.gov" which usually should be as simple as "NVC@state.gov". There was also no PDF File or a PDF Version of the letter where it says "You can now begin processing" like what the NVC website says. All the info was in the body of the email. 

 

So what I did is I went to the travel.state.gov website to go to the CEAC website. I logged in using the NVC Case number and invoice number included on the email, and I was able to log in. I was surprised that they did not let me choose an agent anymore. I was also able to pay all the fees. 

 

I just want to make sure that this is all true and happening and if there is someone who had the same experience as me. Please help!

Thank you for this - I just checked the new site and saw my case was approved on July 13th! Glad this step is over; on to the next

We didn't send a copy of our marriage certificate in a foreign language ! we only sent the translated one !! does that mean a RFE  ?
