Hi there! New to VJ, though my husband and I have been following these forums for a while now. We filed in December 2017, got our NOA1 in January 2018, PD is December 27, 2017. Though we've been trying to be patient, now we are getting nervous because our case number still doesn't work online or on the phone at the USCIS website, yet it works on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/. Isn't that strange? Also, as much as I've been reading things, what should we be preparing for when we get out NOA2? The whole thing has me stressing, when I really just would rather be hopeful and excited. =/

12/22/2017 (Friday) I-130 & I-130A were sent to USCIS Chicago Lockbox by USPS

12/27/2017 (Monday) PRIORITY DATE

1/2/2018 (Tuesday) Received mail that my case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Texas Service Center for processing

1/3/2018 Check was cashed. NOA-1 (I-797C) was sent to me by USCIS via USPS. NOA-1 (I-797C) was received a few days later.

Thank you, and you as well... Patience is key at this point, but I'm so tired of the wait, because I know the next stage will be long as well.

Hoping you hear something soon!

People.....hang in there...we‘re probably only 1,5/2 months away!

It‘ll be over soon! :)

How can you say that? Then there is NVC and as far as I know, they have been assigning case number up to 8 weeks lately.

This is what I'm seeing, too. It's the NVC part I'm dreading because it sounds like they need to be hounded to make sure they keep moving along each step of the process. I find it ridiculous they need to be called 2-3 times a week to issue a case #, process payments, and send things. Phew, must'nt get too frustrated before it even starts!

It is so hard being separated and it's the one thing that time only makes worse! But the wait will be worth it. Praying peace and patience for you!
