I know many people get stamp prior couple months of expiration. Especially with tickets! Actually that’s what that officer told me - to better come before traveling

Nice! didn't know that we could do so, been reading posts that they got a hard time getting infopass and getting stamps.

Nothing promising to report, but just to add one more EAC experience: my number starts with EAC18067**** and there has not been any movement on it since April 2018 when apparently my file was received at my "local office." I have no idea where that actually is, but apparently not MY town where I just went for a citizenship interview ten days ago (I applied online in early September, as I was eligible in terms of timeline).

The interviewing officer told me he can't make a decision on the N-400 until he has reviewed and adjudicated the I-751, which he just recently requested to be sent to him! From where, he did not tell me. I had also called the national USCIS number to try to locate the file before the interview and see if the two cases have been merged yet, since I read on the dual-filers thread here that what ultimately happened to me is a common occurrence and was trying to be proactive and "help" the authorities with the process. :)The two people I spoke with there also refused to tell me where the file actually is.

I found the whole mystery about the location so strange unless it is because someone made a mistake and sent my file somewhere not "local" at all.

Hi everybody,

I just got a message from the USCIS tracker that says "New card is being produced", so I went to the DHS USCIS page and checked my account, but there is not updated yet.

Not sure If was just a glitch in the USCIS tracker but I see the bright side and I want to think that they are working in my file. My case number starts with EAC180620*** from VSC, but was sent to my local office in Charlotte, NC in February 2018.

Hi,

My one-year extension will expire this month. Still, my application is in the local office. I had applied Dec 2017.   How to get stamped in I-551. Can anybody tell me what procedure to follow? I am worried because I am going to travel in May this year.

Did you not receive your 18 month? You should of received a 18 month letter. I did a request for missing mail few months back when I didn't get mine and I got the 18 month letter.

My friend whose receipt date is Nov 20th (from VSC) just got notification they are processing his card today. Mine is Dec 4th so hoping it means they are getting through a bunch and it won't be too long now.

My one year extension is also expiring soon and I never received an 18 month extension letter.  The USCIS office near me is not accepting infopass appointments or walk-ins, and I travel in a couple weeks (letter expires soon after in March).

@emerlee85 was that a request through USPS or USCIS?  Although I would assume it's too late for us at this point.

I followed the steps here - you should of received a 18 month one so its worth doing. They sent it to me within a few weeks.

emerlee85- Is your friend's EAC number is EAC18061XXXX?  I an Nov 27 filer.

You need to request for missing 18 months extension letter, since you would able to get infopass.  I did got inforpass and stamped my passport for a year.

dilip - Your receipt number EAC18061 suggests that your filing date is in December 2017 (mid-month).  When you said you are a 27 November filer, is that the receipt date from USCIS?

Look up a few comments from here and I saw the post by Maritah.  His/her receipt is EAC18062, and he/she is a December filer.  061 and 062 are working days, and the number would suggest that you filed only one day before him/her

Hi! I am Jan 2018 filer and I feel like I am in the same boat. My case status also says fingerprint was reviewed in Apr 2018 by my local office, and nothing more. I just checked the case status of receipt numbers around mine, there are a bunch of decisions made on these cases both before and after mine. I can't help noticing that you are in upstate NY too. I wonder if it has something to do with our location.

Hi,

I just checked my account in the DHS-USCIS page and it's updated the status, we got approved without interview!

Happily the USCIS tracker didn't have a glitch . My case is from VSC and was sent to my local office in Charlotte, NC.

Cheers!
