Filed N400 online 7 December 2018. Biometrics were scheduled for 24 December but the office ended up being closed on that day. I received a reschedule notice for January 9th - and completed it today. I think it would be awesome to attend a naturalization ceremony on July 4th - fingers crossed lol!!!

My Congressman contacted me and said that he is going to inquire about these ridiculous wait times.  Everyone contact your Congressman! Political push does work!  I also contacted my Senators as well.

Hi everyone!  I've been doing a bit of detective work and it seems that the September 2017 I-751 filers are now receiving approvals from both VSC and CSC, so perhaps we should see action around April time.  However, those in that thread who also filed N400s a year later (Sep/Oct 2018) had their 751 cases being transferred to the NBC in December instead.  So, for those of us who now have both pending, we need to keep a lookout for our 751s to be transferred around March/April.  *Note that we filed the N400 on 12/12 (priority date same), with bios done on 1/7.

Hello all,

I have not been keeping track in this forum, so I am posting in December 2017 and January 2018 filers for I-751. Anyways, we filed our I-751 in either end of December 2017 or January 2018, and received a letter extending his conditional resident status for one year (until 1/30/19). Did anyone else get only a one year extension? I have been seeing a majority of people have gotten an 18month extension. His application is being processed through Vermont Service Center. He already did biometrics but we haven't heard anything else yet. Did anyone else get an additional extension after the one year extension? I submitted an inquiry online through the USCIS website, is there anything else we can do to extend his status? His job is already aware his status will expire and said they will have to terminate him if he doesn't get any new documentation. Would it be worth it to make an appointment at a field office?

March 2014: met while I was on a study abroad trip in Ecuador & kept in contact with each other after I left

August 2014: visit to Ecuador

November 12 2014: sent I-129f

November 17 2014: I-129f received (Texas Service Center)

November 20 2014: received electronic NOA1

November 24 2014: received hard copy NOA1 in mail

December 2014: visited Ecuador again...officially engaged on 12/12/14!

March 2015: visit to Ecuador for Spring Break

June 10, 2015: NOA2 text/email notification

Just got an email this morning that my husband new Green Card was mailed yesterday!!!! It says we should receive it in 30 days. I guess they are approving applications for December now 2017! I'm so happy this wait is over since we have a trip planned in March and we weren't feeling comfortable about traveling with expired card and extension letter.  I'm so happy :)
