I received my biometrics appointment letter today. My biometrics date is 1/29/2018!! What a relief!

Just got my extension letter yesterday! im surprised because  i Didn't ask for that and i still have a few month on  old one . 🙄

But i guess they sending to everybody right now.

We received our 18mth extension letter Aug 24, on white paper with the legal notice at the top and no we did not use a lawyer 🤷🏼‍♀️

11/27/17 - Recieved notice from DHS to file I-751

12/14/17 - Submitted I-751 to CSC

12/18/17 - Received by CSC

12/20/17 - Check cashed 
12/22/17 - Recieved NOA

12/18/17 - NOA issue date

Yeah same here....going to have to try and call USCIS and see what is up....but we all know how it is with calling them...

Not sure if maybe anyone else has called them yet for this and what kind of reply they got?

2015-06-19: NOA2 Email. 133 days between NOA1 and NOA2

2015-06-26: USCIS update that case was sent to NVC

2015-07-14: Case number assigned when calling on 2015-07-20 but couldn't give emails as case was locked still

2015-07-27: Called and was able to give emails

2015-07-27: Submit DS-261

2015-07-27: Pay AOS Fee

2015-08-25: Receive IV bill

2015-08-26: Pay IV Fee

2015-09-05: Submit DS-260

2015-09-07: Sent AOS and IV package via EP

2015-10-11: Resubmit via EP after being told to do so on 2015-10-09 as it looked like our original emails were lost

2015-10-16: Received email for scan date of 2015-10-12. Told that basically nothing can be done and we need to wait 30 days from 2015-10-12 (30+ days lost because they lost our emails)

2015-10-26: Told case is basically complete but that they are building my electronic file. Told there is no timeline for this.

2015-10-30 & 2015-11-13: Still told no update. Building electronic file still and no timeline.

2015-11-17: Case Complete

2015-12-03: Receive packet 4

2015-12-15: Medical

2015-12-18: Medical picked up results

2016-01-12: Interview - Approved!

2016-02-03: POE

I updated the address last month and received the email confirmation. I don't know the letter will be sent to the new address or the old one. *sigh*

*Update:

I have received the 18 months letter watermark on Aug. 25. The letter date is Aug. 18  

They sent it to my updated address, not the old one.

I got mine today! they did send to my old address tho and it was forwarded to me, so make sure you change your address with usps.

This morning our neighbor appears on our doorstep n she found my extension letter on her mailbox smh seriously? but im still thankful i have it now

So I received the wrong letter on plain paper with the legal notice saying the original was sent to my lawyer listed on form G-28. I didn't file a G-28 form and am not using a lawyer.

I called USCIS today and they told me that it does not show a G-28 on file and no attorney either. So I was transferred up the chain to an immigration officer and when they called me back and finally understood my issue, they gave me an email to email about the issue. And beyond that didn't really say much else. Hopefully this works and someone gets back to me. 

Thing is I asked what I should put in the email and they were like "I can't tell you what to write, but that is the email you need to contact".

I was going to scan the letter and include it, but I forgot to attach it before I sent it...but I think I described the issue pretty well.

 

If anyone else calls and gets a different answer, would love to know! Email I was told to email was lockboxsupport@dhs.gov but I would call so we can see if maybe others will get better info maybe? I'm not really sure why the immigration officer couldn't initiate a new send herself. If someone hears something else please share!

 

I just realized I got an auto reply from them and it says it is just for stuff sent to the lock boxes. But maybe they send out the notices as well since it is basically a new NOA1 for the I-751

 

Guess we will see!
