I got what was supposed to be my  18 month extension letter today..

Does everyone's new letters have this wording?  (Note: we do not have an attorney for i751)

"We have mailed an official notice about this case... to the mailing preferences you chose on Form G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney. This is a courtesy copy, not the official notice."

was it printed in watermarked green paper (like the original 12 month letter)?

Did it start with the following?

"We have mailed an official notice about this case... to the mailing preferences you chose on Form G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney. This is a courtesy copy, not the official notice."

Yes, it is on the official paper. No, it did not start like that. It begins "According to our records, you previously received an I-751 receipt notice that extended your conditional resident status for 12 months. Due to delays in processing, USCIS is now extending your conditional resident status for 18 months from the expiration date indicated on your Form I-551..."

It sounds like they think you are. Did you use one for your original case or something and maybe they carried that over...or they are just confused which would not be surprising I guess.

Hi everyone, hubby received is 18-month extension letter as well. Came from VSC, this is the most movement we've seen since biometrics in February.

Im really considering filling for naturalization in December, I'm just not 100% sure how accurate it is that they join cases. I have also heard on the news,  the Naturalization process is taking well over the usual 6 months. @AmharaI know you do research on other forums, have you been able to gather any info on  Removing conditions + Naturalization merging of cases?
