Just got back from my biometrics, whole thing took longer to get through security than the actual biometrics! It was just an ID verification, 2 minutes total. Now just waiting and hoping I don't need another interview. I honestly don't see why I would but you never know.

I got my biometrics yesterday too!

Here's my detailed process:

12/16/17 - Mailed package

12/18/17 - VSC received

12/19/17 - NOA sent

01/05/18 - NOA received

01/12/18 - Bio letter issued

01/22/18 - Bio letter received

01/30/18 - Bio appointment

If anyone can update the list with my info thanks!

Also for those people who were worried about the late sponsor change of address stuff that came up on the forum before, I-865. We got the receipt for my wife yesterday. The application was a year and a half late, no problems, no fines, no issues, as expected. So if you forgot just submit late with an apology and everything will be fine. I suspect if they find you first it won't be.

Hi everyone! we will be sending back our biometrics letter for re-scheduling today via UPS, the appointment date is scheduled for 1/26 but we are leaving tomorrow overseas and won't be able to make it. We will be back in 3 weeks so maybe we will find the new appointment date in the mail by then (being positive). I will keep you guys posted!

Better go for a walk in with the letter today, they will attend to you

I've done a lot of research on the ASC assigned to us (Elizabeth, NJ), they do not accept walk-ins at all. The alternative is Hackensack, NJ but their walk-in day is Wednesdays and we leave tomorrow and even if we tried is not guaranteed they take you in as it depends on how busy they are. We have been doing a lot of thinking and decided this is our best route (rescheduling). The letter actually provides info on rescheduling so I want to think positively and expect a rescheduling without issues. We have a 9-month-old baby that we each take care of while the other one is working so it is very difficult to just change plans last minute. I'm not worried, my husband has the one-year extension in hand, we come back before the CR expires. God willing, it will all work out. Thanks for your advise!

Alright it's all good, go on with your plan but I haven't seen anyone rejected for a walk-in in biometrics. Have a safe trip and keep us updated with the rescheduling process. Thanks
