I agree.  Like you mentioned earlier, there is probably no harm done by not doing so unless the PR spouse leaves and goes on welfare somewhere, which is not likely to happen, I would rather err on the side of caution and compliance!

Oh goodness!  Don't freak out!  You can file the AR-11 online.  The change of address is more important for the GC holder, but your ROC application is already updated with your new address.  Just to be safe, you can file the AR-11 form online and mail the other form.

 

I have just seen some folks on older threads get their correspondence sent to their old addresses even if their ROC petition has the new address because they didn't fill in the AR-11.  It's not a big deal - it's all good and easy!

It's really not a big deal. I have had big anxiety about this whole process but this is really not a big deal, I promise. If you did the AR-11 online you should have email confirmation, you can attach a copy of that if you like. Technically the I-865 is just a form but I also sent my purchase agreement for my home, the letter, and my NOA copy. Mostly I just wanted to show that all the dates for moving matched up and we have been living together continually etc. Like I said, anxious. I can share the letter text with you if it helps. The I-751 will not be affected if you did the AR-11, that's the important thing. It's not like you are trying to claim benefits etc so you have done nothing wrong.

I already have AR-11 confirmation email from  uscis that i change my address on the first day we move to our new house... so the only thing that we need to file right now is the I-865, i really appreciate all the info thank you so much

for anyone who wants to attempt a walk-in for the biometrics,  go for it.  I did it in Manhattan today, literally in and out in 10 minutes, no questions asked.

Filed ROC Nov 22 2017 and I just got my biometric letter on 01/13. Bio for 22nd Jan but I tried walk in today and the center was closed due to weather in Alabama.

We received our biometrics letter on Saturday, it's scheduled for 1/25/18 if someone would like to add that to my info that would be great, I have a heck of a time doing it, page keeps reloading ...
