I received my biometrics appointment letter today. My biometrics date is 1/29/2018!! What a relief!

Old database systems take time to batch the day’s changes, so if the USCIS receive the address on the I-751 only, the NOA may be sent to the old address on file.  This is because the system seems to mail the NOA the next business day (according to our posts here).

 

 I could be wrong about this, though, but has happened.

I filed mine via online with the AR-11, but my husband (USC) did not. Does he need to do anything? Is he considered sponsor in ROC since I'm the petitioner?

Just read ur previous post again, he did not submit I-865 with our ROC package, what should we do next? I'm going to give USCIS a call on Monday.

I don’t think it’s the worst thing in the world if the US sponsor doesn’t update the address, but I will update mine.  Technically, the US sponsor is responsible for making sure the resident alien won’t be a public charge until the PR becomes a USC.  

 

Also, I want to make sure my case file is updated as much as possible.  I am sure my name is in a database somewhere separate from the case just in case he files for public benefits.  It may look good for the case, too!

Im going to file I-865 print it in library tomorrow, mail it out ASAP to Texas Center via overnight.

Hi again !...the date of my I-751 Form is Dec 29th. It was sent the 30th.

CSC received it on Jan 2nd, today my checks were cashed and also today I received my NOA !.

 

I'm happy because it was quick and I needed the NOA to buy tickets to go to my country with my husband and newborn!

Hello, I am new to this forum and just made an account. I'll be filing up my information soon! I am also one of the Dec 2017 filers at CSC. Date application filed: 23th Dec, 2017, NOA1 received: 27th Dec, 2017.

 

I have a question - the dates under the Biometrics column, what does it stand for?

a) the date on which the letter is received that lists the biometrics appointment date?

b) the date of the actual biometrics appointment?

c) something else?

I have no idea too LOL but I believe it is date of Biometrics appt.

@Jovi&James aww May is still far you're probably going to be fine. I did not buy my tickets, praying to get my NOA1 soon, I might not be waiting for my biometrics letter, I intend to fly out on 3 Feb and return on 23rd to see my parents. Those are the only days that my husband can take vacation leaves.

29 December 2017 - I-751 Priority Mail shipped to VSC

2 January 2018 - Package delivered

8 January 2018 - Check cashed in

11 January 2018 - NOA received (DATE of NOA: 3 JAN 2018)

22 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment letter received

30 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment

11 August 2018 - 18 Months extension received (Exp on Sept 2019)

8 April 2019 - I751 Approved

12 April 2019 - NOA and greencard received

VSC received it on January 2, 2018.

 

Check not cashed yet.

No NOA yet.
