Hi, where did you send your letter about pending I-751 and requested for a combo interview? Did you sent to the processing center or your local office where they will conduct your interview at.

Just submitted a Case outside normal processing time Service Request. Got an email saying that I should expect a reply by Aug 29, 2019 which is 3 days after my 18 month letter expires. I'll just call them to get more information.

I just got the same generic message from California service center smh

I called USCIS and asked for a InfoPass to get a Stamp on my Passport. CSC is now processing Jan 2018 Applications as per the case processing time tool. I haven't gotten a call from USCIS to setup the InfoPass. The customer support representative didn't have much information about the delay. Now I'm guessing It'll be a combo interview with my N400.

There is not consistent policy of I-751 pending and a person apply for N-400, but in my case, when I applied , they approved all cases of I-751 around my number, but not mine and approved both after N-400 interview.  So, it might be the same in your case?  Did you see cases around you are approved?  Did you get any transfer notice?

No I didn't get any transfer notice. I see 2 cases before and after me that were approved. A few got RFEs. I did setup a call to get 551 stamp USCIS still hasn't called me to make that appointment. N400 shows 6 months waiting time.

In the past, inforpass was misused.  That is the reason they changed it and now only those need will get infopass. Glad you go it for tomorrow.  They might take your GC, request to IO to give you back.

Makes sense. I did ask the person that called to schedule info that question and he said they shouldn't take my GC but I have read mixed stories hopefully I can keep my GC.

Recently USCIS made some changes to their policy  https://www.uscis.gov/news/news-releases/uscis-announces-final-rule-enforcing-long-standing-public-charge-inadmissibility-law

I did have Obama Care at one point while switching jobs and I did request for unemployment benefits as well. Does that mean I've accessed public funds from the government ?! This was back in 2016. I'm not sure if USCIS sees me as someone taking advantage of these programs. Has anyone here been through such situations? This is worrying me now. Please Advise. Thank you.

This rule is applied to cases for those applying for a visa or GC after being in the US on a non-immigrant visa.  If you had a conditional GC while on Obamacare, then you are good.  Also, just because you were on Obamacare doesn’t mean you received government funds for the insurance premiums.
