ok the extension of 18 months expires in June that is to say the next month.  You have to do the infopass before the expiration expires, do you understand?  already applied for the coudadania

@Mario barriosit expires 18 months after the expiration of your green card. I'm in the same boat as you guys, but I did apply for citizenship. My GC expired on March 5 2019, so 18 months is September 5 2019.

If your GC expired on March 21 2018, then your 18 month extension expires on September 21, 2019. This is 18 months after your GC expires, not 18 months after you submitted the application. It's written in the extension letter and I just called USCIS to confirm. They also told me the earliest I could get an infopass appointment would be 30 days before the extension expires, IF I don't get any news before that. Given that they are processing cases received on Oct 23, 2017 as of today, we should expect an answer by the end of June. If we don't get anything by then, then we can submit an inquiry for Outside Normal Processing Time of your application.

We will be in touch, hopefully and we will receive approval before June.  This is a lot of stress.  you know of someone who has passed in October because I have seen people approved in December 2017 I do not understand

The status on the uscis site updated to “card was picked up by usps” today. Does anyone know how long it’ll take to deliver the card after this update ?

Mine took 2 days to get there!!!!

This is a lot of stress indeed...I asked them how come they were approving cases that were submitted later than mine (like in January 2018). The guy told me it all depends on the officer...it's really a matter of luck. Don't try to make any sense out of it. We are at their mercy and we are only a number...they don't care how this impacts our lives. We'll get through this!

This is something depressing, I happen to have a new job and I have been asked for a lot of tests like seeing if I am a resident and I do not understand anything about that extension what we suffer is us.  yesterday they approved a friend who is from June 2018.  no interview, no fingerprints, no evidence.

I understand you perfectly :(. The only thing you can do is show them the extension letter, then, if you need to, even pull up the USCIS site where they show the date they are currently processing. In the end this is the law and the employers can't do more about it than we can. I am concerned about this situation too - what if my employer decides my status is uncertain at this point? can I even get a new job - what would a new employer think about this limbo? But again, all we can do it wait. Try not to despair over it. This is beyond our control. Easier said than done...

I am sure that they will soon approve us.  we are almost in 18 months california is working according to the cases the officers take cases some are faster than others I think that is why there are people who are approved first

I received the card this morning. Thanks for responding!

I received it today. Took about 2 days as well

When did you send your case?  I have 17 months of waiting and I still do not receive anything.  just a receipt in February that states that I have no biometrics traces.  I'm desperate

HI everyone!  We received our N400 interview letter yesterday!  May 30 in Royal Palm Beach, FL!  There is no mention of the STILL pending I-751, but after reading about others' experiences, we are preparing for a combo interview and I will accompany my husband to the appointment.  He is going to call USCIS midweek and ask a Tier 2 to make sure both will be adjudicated at the same time.  Ever onward!!!
