How about bank statements. Taxes. Maybe car lease. Any type of insurances. Like health or car or renters. Remember the 401K proof of beneficiaries as well as life insurance with her as the beneficiary. Send pictures!!! And maybe a notarized letter that you only rent and don’t own a property as well as saying you don’t have children. 

Yes send anything else that comes to mind. Not everyone has joint ownership of assets. I didn’t! My husband had bought our house before we got married therefor my name wasn’t on the grand deed. But I sent old leases with both of our names. And of course I sent a bunch of other stuff. Credit card statements that had our names.

I will send more bank statements, taxes. My car is under my name only, I bought it before my wife came to the States. We have health insurance, in the rfe letter said we only sent them the application, not the copy of the actual card, so I will send them the copy of insurance cards this time. I just found out we have both names on car insurance, health insurance, lease, phone + internet bills, and the flight tickets for 2 trips in the last 2 years. That's all!

That’s great! But also call the insurances and ask them to send you proof of coverage!! By email. It’s faster!  Because when I first applied I sent copies of the actual insurance cards and when I got the RFE they said that doesn’t show dates. So call and ask for proof of coverage. That’s what I send and it worked!!! And yes send the copies of the cards. Oh and the trip proof is better if you send the actual purchase proof cus I’m sure both of your names will be together. Rather than if you only send the ticket or boarding pass it’ll be just each of your names.

Hey fellow VJers, i applied for my i 751 in dec 2017 and my n400 in dec 2018. i havent received any RFE or anything and in jan 2018 my i 751 was transferred to the national benefit center and i dont know how much longer will it be. BTW my local office is Atlanta, GA. if anybody has the same situation and can let me know approximately how much longer will it be because a lot of people from dec 2017 have already gotten their 10 years GC while im still waiting.

Transferred to NBC 1-10-19

This is a standard procedure.  Once I-751 goes to NBC as a result of pending N-400, you will no longer receive I-751 approval from a Service Center.  Your files will be adjudicated together when you are called for N-400 interview.  The interview will require that your spouse comes with you.  Your current wait time will be based on your local field office's N-400 processing time.

but i thought that filing for my n400 with 751 pending would speed up my application

No, that is a misconception.  That statement is only true if your local office has a fast processing timeline for N-400 (like 4-6 months).  If you are in one of those offices, yes your N-400 would have helped I-751 waiting time as you would have been called for N-400 not too long after you filed for N-400.

 

Atlanta is not super slow, but not super fast either.  However long it is taking now for N-400 in Atlanta, that is what you have to wait.

Some people got their 10 year GC with a pending N 400 so it could go either way.
