I got my card in the mail today.

my timeline is below

NOA RECEIPT DATE 1/2/2018 (CSC)

Case transferred back to CA 6/18/18

18 month extension late aug/18

Case transferred to Nebraska 2/5/19

Date of birth updated 3/8/2019

New card produced 3/19/19

new card and approval letter delivered 3/25/19

 

Applied for N400 1/15/19

Biometrics done 2/1/19

 

A couple of things I noticed from my own experience

- i never received bio appointment for I751 nor any letter indicating bio will be reused

- movement on my case started after i took bio for N400 and then the new bio is now on my new 10 year green card

- card expiration is 10 years from the day new card is produced

- if you got notice that date of birth or name updated chances are you’ll be approved in a couple of days or might get an RFE 

- judging from my experience i would apply for N400 if you have not received anything regarding your biometrics, chances are your new bio will trigger movement in your i751

- i decided to apply for N400 because the estimated timeline at my local office will not speed up the i751, so i did not want to face the uncertainty of whether or not both cases will be adjusticated simultaneously.

I received my biometrics appointment letter today. My biometrics date is 1/29/2018!! What a relief!

Thanks for sharing your experience. My case status just changed to "Date of birth was updated" yesterday, right after biometrics done few days ago. Hopefully it will get approved soon, not RFE or interview.

29 December 2017 - I-751 Priority Mail shipped to VSC

2 January 2018 - Package delivered

8 January 2018 - Check cashed in

11 January 2018 - NOA received (DATE of NOA: 3 JAN 2018)

22 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment letter received

30 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment

11 August 2018 - 18 Months extension received (Exp on Sept 2019)

Hello everyone. 

I was approved FINALLY on March 20th. I got letter of approval and my actual green card too!!! They received my RFE package on March 12th and by March 20th I was approved already. So it only took them a few days to make a decision. 

Thank God they approved so quick! 

Now I have to apply for citizenship! Soo I hope. 

Good luck to everyone else!

29 December 2017 - ROC Filing Opening Date (Expiry 29 Mar 2018)

29 December 2017 - I-751 Priority Mail shipped to VSC

2 January 2018 - Package delivered

8 January 2018 - Check cashed in

11 January 2018 - NOA received (DATE of NOA: 3 JAN 2018)

22 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment letter received

30 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment

11 August 2018 - 18 Months extension received (Exp on Sept 2019)

8 April 2019 - I751 Approved

12 April 2019 - NOA and greencard received

 

Help us all by updating your Timeline and Profile!:D

Thank God they approved so quick!

My status shows RFE yesterday, I am waiting for the actual letter to get more evidence and send them. Don't know what more I should send, I thought I had sent them enough. Can I ask what you sent them for the rfe?

Hello. I sent 175 pages worth of evidence! 

I sent my daughters birth certificates. Enrollment forms from the school my daughter is going. Doctors request of medical records for both of my daughters (luckily I had taken a pic of both requests). I also sent 2016 and 2017 taxes. 401K proof  that we are both the beneficiaries to each other’s accounts.  Health insurance proof of coverage. As well as car insurances for both cars. Life insurance where I’m the beneficiary. Then I printed bank statements(savings, checking and savings accounts under both of our daughters names) from 2016-2018 and whatever I had from 2019. Credit card statements with both of our names with scanned cards that have both of our names. And I also printed out the proof of travel (from Expedia ) and about 20 pictures. 

Thats all I can think of..... it’s a lot of paperwork. You can start working on it now. Most stuff is online or you can just call so they can send you those documents over email.
