I have had this exact update on my case and I filed on November 29 of 2017. Also a VSC filer. Nothing has changed yet...

When I called, they just told me that 'the case was recieved at the local jurisdiction office'. I think what they mean is all cases get sent to Vermont first, and then to your local town clerk for review.

The letter I received today, it was actually mailed to my neighbour so not sure when it actually arrived. No tracking #. My card was mailed to my condo mailbox.

You guys what a nightmare. My husband's card was delivered to the old address, we submitted an address change and was confirmed by USCIS on 7/18/18. When I went to speak to the current residents on the old address they state they do not have the piece of mail. USPS confirmed it was delivered to the old address. I'm about to submit an inquiry and Im also on the phone waiting to speak to customer service but I wanted to see if anyone as been through this or has read or know anyone that has been through this.

Thanks Amhara, In this case, according to the USPS office, the card was indeed delivered by the postal worker. What's sad about it is that this postal worker knows who we are and that we moved and still delivered it. I'm going to visit the old address tenants again today and see if they had any luck finding the letter. I'm thinking, because the card is showing as delivered, the USCIS will never get it back as undelivered.

I called USCIS today but they would only talk to the applicant and not the petitioner. I submitted a "card not received" inquiry and it stated they will let me know what happens by April 16th. This is a fine example of incompetence on different levels of governmental offices: USCIS failed to send the card to the updated address, USPS failed to confirm that the mail recipient was no longer at the address on the envelope. And I read somewhere that they do not forward mail for these type of documents (we have mail forward activated since we moved last May). Ad to the fact that the current tenants don't seem to be cooperating as much as I would expect

It’s going to be a headache. I will note that USPS informed delivery has given me notifications of items that haven’t been delivered. Regardless, the USCIS failed to use the updated address. They need to get a new card sent to you, but I believe they are going to require some waiting time. They are not keen to send a new one unless they receive the first one back in the mail. Keep us posted!

Not sure why the Processing Times on VJ are all over the place... they dropped back like 4 months, then moved up, then back again.... strange...

I think it’s because the ROC population that has a timeline is really small. Either they stopped updating it or don’t know it exists.

Little update:

My biometrics appointment was scheduled on March 11. However, I did a walk-in on March 22 and they took me in without any issue. Today My case status changed from Case was received at local office to Date of Birth was updated. I have no idea why it changed to that!
