Just an update.... I am a Yes for N-400 and my interview is schedule for 3/18/2019. Still no movement on my pending I-751. Last update was June 2018 (the case transfer update that nearly everyone received).

Hi Guys,

 

today I received two letters for N-400 naturalization, just to confirm address dob etc. 

 

I noticef that they sent these out on Feb 22nd, weird enough as I posted a few pages ago, my i751 was updated on the “My cases” page it went from saying 1/17/19 which is the date it was transfered to Nebraska from California, to 2/24/19 , however the big screen where it tells you whats going on with your case did not change. Any thoughts on this? For those who have received REF’s does it show on your app or website?

Finally have an update after over a year.

 

I got an update notice saying my application to remove conditions is successful and my card will be sent within 60 days! Just for reference I have not filed for naturalization with this application and have not had any updates about transfers to local office that some people are reporting.

My husband has received his interview notice for US Citizenship!  We are waiting on the notice to find out when it's scheduled, but I updated our section.  Used the biometrics for the N400 in this section.  We applied for US citizenship on December 21, 2018 and changed our address to Tucson, AZ on February 27, 2019.  Next, we will be sending our request for the ROC combo interview to try to make sure the cases are adjudicated together.

Did you change the address for i 751 since it's still pending ?

Yes, we did it online the same day.  Strange thing is that the service request was completed for the N400 the next day in the uscis.gov profile, but the service request for the I751 is still showing as waiting for assignment, so it's not completed yet...

I haven’t heard of this.

The local office interview is Tucson, Arizona.  I don't know if this will work, but when we get my husband's interview letter, we are going to send a copy of the ROC NOA & transfer letter (which just went from one Laguna Nigel office to another...) and hand write a letter with the case numbers for ROC & USC to request that the case gets transferred to the adjudicating officer.  We will send one letter to the ROC address and one letter to the address that might appear on the interview letter.  If no address is on the interview letter, then we will just send it to the outward facing field office address.

 

I think interviews are scheduled within a three to five weeks, so we will get working on the letters soon.  I haven't even submitted my change of address for the sponsor, so I better do that, too!  Again, I don't know if it would work, but at least some correspondence will give us a chance of a combo interview!  It will help me feel like we are accomplishing something rather than hoping that the officer knows what to do.

I'm a December 2017 filer. My status changed today directly from "case being transferred" to "new card is being produced." Last Saturday, I had received a letter saying that they'll use my bio on record (I got excited thinking that it was the approval, then was devastated -- funny how things in life work out). I hope everybody a good resolution to their wait! On to the journey for naturalization!

Congrats!!!  It looks like your case was one of the June 2018 “transfers.”   May the approvals keep coming in!

I am so excited to see your update... I also received a letter from them letting me know they will use my previous biometrics just this Monday 4th March. My case has been on the same "on June 18th we transferred" your case to a new office. Am a California Dec 2017 filer. Hopefully all of us like you get the approval and card produced message soon.

My husband's interview is scheduled for April 23rd, so that is about 49 days from when we received the notification.  The interview letter wasn't available on the DHS log in page this morning around 8 am, but was posted around 11:30 am.  Now it's time to get stuff printed and sent off!  Also time to get our tax return processed!

 

Here is a tip I would suggest to everyone - When you file your tax return, submit a paper copy to the USCIS with your latest transfer letter or NOA.  That way, you are providing more evidence, and it may result in the assigned adjudicator in picking up your file and processing it!  I was planning on trying this in April or May, but we will make sure to have a copy ready for the interview and will only send a letter requesting the file is worked with my husband's N400 petition.  

 

We are really excited because we are expecting to close on a house the end of this month, have his USC interview in April, might be able to oath in May, then he graduates in June!  Wow!  Keep it coming!
