GBOS- It seems they assigned a  few IO for I-751 and they are overloaded.  I-751 requires so many documents and IO officers could find minor issues, they can issue RFE and they would get breathing room .

@dilip - I tend to believe that theory too.  It goes like this: a file is opened, too many documents, too lazy to search, copy and paste a standard RFE, repeat a few more files, 5pm, go home, nothing is done.

Hello everyone.

I need to submit all my RFE documents soon. Question is..... I have like at least 30 pages to send and they sent me a small regular envelope to send the documents back but it won’t fit. Do you think is ok to send it in on a big Manila envelope?

Tha m you...

Yes, as long as you return it with the RFE letter you receive (or a cover sheet if they provide you one) on top of everything.

It is very important that they have your receipt number so that they can route the documents to the right officer.

My card is being produced! I found out last Friday. Anyone knows how long it takes for them to mail it out?

I’m EAC18073. No N400. No transfers outside of the local office one last year.

I’m happy! Good luck!

@Mredkey - Congratulations.  About one week is what has been reported.  The approval notice will arrive first in a standard first-class mail, then the card will arrive in a different envelope with a tracking number.

So the USCIS processing times for the CA service center is 15 to 19 months.  That means that for us, next month is the 15th month and July is the 19th month.  We should all be done with ROC in August 2019!  If not, then it's inquiry or USC time!

Signature coming soon...

I follow this topic quite long but i never reply. I just check my status, there is the new card produced. I update my timeline:

NOA Issue Date: 12.08.2017
NOA Received: 12.20.2017

Biometrics: 01.22.2018

Service Center: VJC

Approved Date: 02.20.2019

N400: no.

I didnt received my extention letter to 18 mths as some of u guys here, so I made an appointment when my letter was expried, I got the stamp on 12.18.2018. I got an email that USCIS reviewed my case around the beginning of this month but I did not remember the day.

So good luck to everyone, you will be the next one.

I finally received my RFE 😫 It says that they need more proof of good faith marriage, joint financial activities, and wills. I have sent most of the original copies on my first application, and I have already sent what is asked.

We never had bills of utilities under both our names since we lived with my uncle's family and they paid for everything and did not let us pay as a way of helping us earn money before we are ready to move out. I will submit affidavits, copies of my ex-husband's pay stubs, our baggage tags, more photos, conversations between my sisters-in-law, my grandmother-in-law, and my family regarding me and my ex, screenshots of conversations and copies of bank transactions on our old joint checking account.

We were together for almost six years but only married for 11 months. The conversations we had after we separated were hostile, so I'd rather not print those out. I do have photographic proof of the reason for our separation, but I'd also rather not include it. Should I also include screenshots and photos of before our marriage? Also, how many affidavits from people is recommended that I should send?

All this backreading through our conversations and photos gives me flashbacks and gives me so much emotional distress that it worsens my anxiety 😔

Thank you very much.

I mostly have everything. Except utilities bills cus they r not under both of our names. Only either his or mines. I think I won’t send affidavits of neighbors. Not sure if I’m being  dumb by not sending it. I just truly rather not bother people. And you know sometimes people don’t like to get bothered so I think I’ll risk it and not send that. Other than that I have life health and car insurances proof that it’s under both of our names. Bank accounts with us and both of our children. I also found an old rent application/approval form before we were married that the very first time we moved out together. I found old cd accounts that are under both of our names from before we got married. I’ll send our 2016 and 2017 tax papers. Oh and I’m forgetting our flight purchases for vacation on 2016 and in 2018 with our girls (the 4 of us).also we have a few credit cards together so I’m gonna check online if there’s any oficial document I can get that proves we have those accounts under both of our names.  Not sure what else to send!!?? Any more ideas? Do you guys think that’s enough? I need to hurry up now because my deadline is April 25

Thank you very much for your response!

Congratulations on your upcoming baby!

This was the same situation I was in, except replace baby’s due date with needing to travel.  I never received the 18 month letter.

At the bottom of the page where it says your office isn’t accepting appointments there’s a little paragraph that says:

“If you need help with document services (such as passport stamps and advance parole) or have an emergency, call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283. USCIS representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern except on federal holidays.”

I called and they had someone call me back to schedule me at the office that wasn’t accepting appointments online.

As @Amhara said,  I believe whoever processed the inquiry may have just approved my case as it was suddenly approved 3 days later, the same day as my new infopass appointment, and my 10 year greencard arrived within the week.

I’ll add that I did submit an online inquiry as well but all of the above occurred before I even heard a response from them, which was about a month.

Thanks.  We will try to a call that phone number.  I did the online inquiry last week, but they have a month to respond.
