torres10 - If your interview is scheduled at least 3-4 weeks after you filed, your I-751 file would have already been transferred to NBC to batch with your N-400 file, then they both go to your local office.  So what I am saying is - both of your files should already be at your local office.  Be sure to bring your spouse with you to the interview.

Yes , I filed in December 10, 2018 got my biometric done by January 2,2019 and today got notification for N-400 interview.

I hope so...Thanks!

Is it a good or a bad thing if your case got transferred and a new office has jurisdiction over your case?

Mine got transferred and then I got approved a month later. So I guess it could be good.

It is really just distributing workload though I believe in most cases. So your case getting approved or not or approved without interview etc. really depends on individual case.

But I would say time frame wise it could mean someone is going to look at it sooner.

Yes, that is the right number.

Hi, I called that number, after a long time one person replied that I need to take appointment to get stamped. But there is no luck online infopass. I am worried, my extension letter will expire this month. Is there any way to get appointment?

Maybe try the online tool for missing notice? That is what I did when I noticed I did not receive it but others did. They sent it to me within a week or two.

klu&mna- Assuming they mail you and you did not receive 18 months extension letter, fill the online form and they will response in a month.   Meanwhile try to get infopass.

Thank you, Dilip. Just now I applied for missing notice. and surprisingly, the case status is changed. The new card is processed. Ohh I am so happy. Yesterday night at 12 am I was trying to get infopass, and I was so upset not to get an appointment.

And finally,  the case status is changed. Thank you all for helping me.

Hello all,

I just got my new card in the mail.

Hoping for approvals for you all soon.

One weird thing is my new one, where the fingerprint used to be just has a white box and says "fingerprint not available"

Did anyone else have this on their new card? I did do my biometrics and the picture on the card is the one they took when I was there that day when they also took my fingerprints.

Wondering if this is normal or not.
