@winniewolf Hey there, did you get approved? May I have the approval date? Congrats if you did!

@brentos @ANF2014 congrats to both of u!

 

@dilip have some faith right there! There are alot of others who are also doing ROC thats not on the forum. But somehow if you look at the list, you will be able to see some portion at the bottom are transferred to Nebraska, and the list of approvals are working from the list down, not forgetting the people who are in between and aren't in the forum. We can see some patterns there, and in between non approvals might be still working on the case and still looking at it? Are you a December filer as well? It would be nice if you can also include your information :)

I actually think they messed up my green card...says no fingerprint on it...which apparently can cause issues...so now need to figure that out...one more USCIS step LOL.

2015-02-06: NOA1

2015-06-19: NOA2 Email. 133 days between NOA1 and NOA2

2015-06-26: USCIS update that case was sent to NVC

2015-07-14: Case number assigned when calling on 2015-07-20 but couldn't give emails as case was locked still

2015-07-27: Called and was able to give emails

2015-07-27: Submit DS-261

2015-07-27: Pay AOS Fee

2015-08-26: Pay IV Fee

2015-09-05: Submit DS-260

2015-09-07: Sent AOS and IV package via EP

2015-10-11: Resubmit via EP after being told to do so on 2015-10-09 as it looked like our original emails were lost

2015-10-16: Received email for scan date of 2015-10-12. Told that basically nothing can be done and we need to wait 30 days from 2015-10-12 (30+ days lost because they lost our emails)

2015-10-26: Told case is basically complete but that they are building my electronic file. Told there is no timeline for this.

2015-10-30 & 2015-11-13: Still told no update. Building electronic file still and no timeline.

2015-11-17: Case Complete

2015-12-03: Receive packet 4

2015-12-15: Medical

2015-12-18: Medical picked up results

2016-01-12: Interview - Approved!

2016-02-03: POE

Hi everyone, 

 

I'm new to the topic and this is my first post. 

Idk to ask for some ideas for my weird case....

 

My green card journey started at

2015 June applied for the I-485 in California 

2015 Dec  interviewed and approved 

2015 Dec  received approved notice 

2016 Jan  realized my green card was disappeared in the mail

2016 Feb filed I-90 for replacement (this part was totally my fault, while I called Customer Service line and asked about it, someone told me that I didn't have to pay again which was wrong! since then I was using a USCIS stamp in passport for everything)

2016 Dec  got denied 

2017 Feb went in the local office for consultation, been noticed that I should applied I-751 soon, so I didn't have to replied.

2017 Dec applied I-751

2018 Feb finger print

2018 Mar got notice "your case moved to the local office" twice 

2018 Jun changed address 

2018 Sep got 18 months extension notice

2018 Nov wallet got stolen and lose my passport with the USCIS stamp inside 

2019 Jan 16  got the stamp in the local office 

2019 Jan 23  got the "we transferred your case to another USCIS office.That office now has jurisdiction over your case.We sent you a notice that explain why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. "

 

I didn't receive this notice and just requested a copy. I plan to give a call in the morning, but my green card situation made me really worry..... 

Is anyone have similar situation? Could this mean anything?

I dont think there is anything weird abt your case.You plain and simple have been unfortunate.Now about case being transfer...Alot of cases have been transfer 3 times.Some of which is a glitch.

@Roy&Chanel Since we filed ROC on 01/02/2018, we didn't have any progress plus no biometric dates.  We also have 2 extension dates.  On 06/15/2018 we received a NOA of transfer from CSC to CSC. :< So when we qualify, we file N400 on 02/01/2019. Within days on 02/05/2019,  our case was transferred to Nebraska and we had a biometric on 02/20/2019.  Now we wait for the interview.

Hi there, could you please share with us the wording of your Vermont transfer notice? I know it might be reading too much between the line, but my case got transferred to Nebraska recently and the notice reads case was transferred "after preliminary review" or something along that line, I was just wondering if that means anything. I also have not received biometrics appointment or letter indicating biometrics will be re-used.

I don't actually have it with me right now. It didn't say anything about review, just that it was being transferred and I believe it talked about balancing workloads.

I can check but won't have access to it until Monday.

Oh my that is something we have to really look out for when we get our greencard! I wouldn't know about fingerprints on it if you did not mention bout it! Thanks for letting us know, this is so important!

My green card journey started at

2015 June applied for the I-485 in California 

2015 Dec  interviewed and approved 

2015 Dec  received approved notice 

2016 Jan  realized my green card was disappeared in the mail

2016 Feb filed I-90 for replacement (this part was totally my fault, while I called Customer Service line and asked about it, someone told me that I didn't have to pay again which was wrong! since then I was using a USCIS stamp in passport for everything)

2016 Dec  got denied 

2017 Feb went in the local office for consultation, been noticed that I should applied I-751 soon, so I didn't have to replied.

2017 Dec applied I-751

2018 Feb finger print

2018 Mar got notice "your case moved to the local office" twice 

2018 Jun changed address 

2018 Sep got 18 months extension notice

2018 Nov wallet got stolen and lose my passport with the USCIS stamp inside 

2019 Jan 16  got the stamp in the local office 

2019 Jan 23  got the "we transferred your case to another USCIS office.That office now has jurisdiction over your case.We sent you a notice that explain why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. "

 

I didn't receive this notice and just requested a copy. I plan to give a call in the morning, but my green card situation made me really worry..... 

Is anyone have similar situation? Could this mean anything?

My case hasn't been transferred. So I assume they are approving cases randomly as well. I have a friend who is an August 2017 filer, and she hasn't seen any movement yet! She is also a Vermont filer.
