Update from our recent vacation.. went to bahamas for 7 days, i did what others share not to use the kiosk but instead see an agent n it works well, going out from US with no problem at all... we arrived in bahamas immigration officer ask my passport n greencard n extension letter same going out from bahamas immigration officer scan my four fingers and took a photo n off we go and i thought we still going to pass another immigration as we arrived in atlanta but i was surprised no immigration at all means they only did it in bahamas

I received my biometrics appointment letter today. My biometrics date is 1/29/2018!! What a relief!

10 Days ago I submitted an online request asking about the status of my bio-metrics appointment and I got the same automated email response as everyone else that the processing time is longer than usual and USCIS might use the bio-metrics that was taken previously and the money won't be refunded. Any California Filers have seen any other updates? My status online for my WAC Receipt number is Case Received at Local Office on Feb 25, 2018. Thanks everyone for sharing your travel experiences.

I got the same email response about processing times. No other updates here! The great wait is just beginning it appears..

I want to share my experience & Please add me.

 

Package I 751 sent: 12-26-2017

Package received @CSC: 12-29-2017

NEVER RECEIVED ANY NOA OR BIOMETRIC APPOINTMENT.

 

Recently made an info pass appointment as advised by Tier 2 officer on phone call (Uscis 1-800#) and Also got the WAC# on phone. 

 

Note : if somebody’s in my situation, please feel free to make an info pass appointment and get the stamp on the passport of your origin. 

 

The officer at the window was really patient and replied to my queries in a very professional manner. 

1. NOA? : The officer Stamped my passport with a smile and asked; how can i be more helpful! 

2. Biometrics: The officer waived the biometrics requirement for next 14 months. 

3. Time frame: Around Two years more or less. 

4. Any change in ROC policy: YES. You’re expecting an interview in the near future. 

5. Just me or everybody: All ROC applicants. 

6. Any suggestions: You should have the medical and vaccinations record done from a certified Medical surgeon when summoned for the interview. Printed i 693 forms and handed over to me. 

7. Is this mandatory? No, its not. But it depends on the IO. Its better to be on the safe side than delays.

8. This requirement of i 693 is gonna be on my interview letter? Yes. If its not in there, just call and ask Tier 2 officer. 

9. My case is tranferred to local office: Yes, it is transferred and you will be receiving few notifications for transfer again because of different officers working on the same case for different purposes and outcomes. 

10. Infopass appointment is difficult, do you guys accept walk ins: Yes only on emergency basis and you have to prove it with proper documentations. 

 

Note: I don’t know much about this process specially i 693. I appreciate all for their time.

I-693 - Medical Exam and Vaccination Record is something you submit when You Initially apply for your Green Card. Why are they asking you to Submit it again for Removal of Conditions on your already existing Green Card?! Did you submit I-693 with your I-751 ROC package?

I haven't received my biometrics appointment either, but I just called USCIS. I filed for ROC on Dec 22nd. I just got off a call with USCIS and they put in a non-delivery of biometrics notice. I am supposed to get the biometrics notice in 30 days, and if I don't, I'm supposed to call them again. I asked about a rough timeline to receive the final card, the answer was "17-19 months" - the usual info... Hopefully this info will help some of us!

Hi all, I wanted to add my own timeline here. We've filed I-751 on Dec 19th, 2017 in the California California SVC center, NOA issue date is 12/21/17, I never received biometrics letter. Called them in January and were given a standard response: We have filed a Non-delivery and it should be issued in 30 days. I then received an e-mail about slow processing times and that my name was added to the appointment scheduler. I submitted another service request in April and received another e-mail stating that they might use my previous biometrics info. I've signed up for Informed delivery with USPS and now receive scans of everything that's coming into my mailbox to my e-mail a few days before it gets delivered, to make sure I don't miss a letter from them

hey guys, I saw Jan 2018 since I've been updating theirs too, noticed its moving so I wonder any news of CSC filers here?

2 January 2018 - Package delivered

8 January 2018 - Check cashed in

11 January 2018 - NOA received (DATE of NOA: 3 JAN 2018)

22 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment letter received

30 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment

11 August 2018 - 18 Months extension received (Exp on Sept 2019)

8 April 2019 - I751 Approved

12 April 2019 - NOA and greencard received

Hey everyone!
 

I am bored at work, so I thought I would post here. It seems that unofficially, the USCIS will be re-using biometrics from the AOS and may be trying to do interviews for ROC's.  Not quite sure.  The response to our inquiry about no biometrics was that we need to not bother them until they say so - if they decide not to use his biometrics, then they will let us know.
