So why do you want to do a Professional Exam in the US?

@mcdull I don't think you should mock or make fun of someone like that. Clearly the lady isn't tech savy. If you cant help her giving a solution its best not to make fun of her. We are in this form to help motivate and help each other.

it is perceived as a mock as there is no reason to suggest googling a street map and i agree with this statement

I know a number of people who’ve done professional exams in the US before moving here. They have all eventually immigrated here, but at the time of taking the exams were resident elsewhere. All from my home country, which requires visas to travel. Eventual immigrant intent and immigrant intent on an upcoming visit is not the same thing. But even more critical to show good ties to current country of residence in a situation like this.

True, but flying half way around the world when you can do it much closer seems slightly odd.

Oh, it can be done closer?

I know there were some where they changed it that you can only do them in the US. I'd assumed that was the case here too hence the need for travel....

...you know what they say about "assume"...

I was talking about Pharmacy qualifications, this is something you take to practice in the US...

And maybe New Zealand.

Seems a bit odd if you have no intention of doing so?

Well nothing, as you do intend to immigrate therefore you don’t have anything to show them that you don’t have intention to immigrate as to say that would be lying.

Solution is to have your family petition you and take the test once you have moved there.

But you don’t need the test unless you are moving to the us, it’s useless to you outside of the us so why can’t it wait till you move permanently?

Its your own fault you already went ahead and booked a test without having the visa needed to go and take it.
