Basketball patriarch LaVar Ball has hit a barrier with his family dynasty conquering The American Dream.

The father of UCLA guard LiAngelo Ball says he plans to withdraw his son from school because of concerns related to the freshman’s indefinite suspension for his participation in a shoplifting incident during the Bruins’ trip to China last month.

The younger Ball, along with freshmen Jalen Hill and Cody Riley, has been barred from all team activities as part of the players' suspension for shoplifting from three high-end stores last month when UCLA opened its season overseas.

Lavar said on TV that his son already “paid the price”, and that he is not going to allow UCLA “to bring his boy down”; that his son should just be left alone to live his life.  He’s blaming the theft on the fact that there wasn’t a chaperone available to keep the boys out of trouble.

Don't forget that he is going to "prepare him for the draft next year". But in reality he sucks almost as bad as his brother does now for the Lakers.
