I've read a few threads in the past day or so where a poster has expressed a concern over things and the response has been

'well you must not really love your fiance(e)' 'you're not in this for the long run' etc etc

Since when does anyone here have a crystal ball on how other people feel?

My Hubby asked the same question last night.. Good for you for voicing it.. You are right IMO.. Sometimes an OP just puts one line of info in a thread.. and then the wolves come out and devour them... eek!

2007-03-28: Transferred to CSC

2007-05-17: EAD Card Production Ordered

2007-05-21: I485 Approved

2007-05-24: EAD Card Received

2007-06-01: Green Card Received!!

Removal of Conditions:

2009-02-27: Sent I-751

2009-03-07: NOA I-751

2009-03-31: Biometrics Appt. Hartford

2009-07-21: Touched (first time since biometrics) Perhaps address change?

2009-07-28: Approved at VSC

2009-08-25: Received card in the mail

Naturalization

2012-08-20: Submitted N-400

2013-01-18: Became Citizen

28th july 2007 - N-400 mailed to VSC

(exactly on the 90th day mark...applications NOT returned although some scared me into thinking they could have!)

30th july 2007 - N-400 delivered to VSC

11th august 2007 - Delivery Confirmation receipt received

17th september 2007 - Money Order (FINALLY!) cashed

9th november 2007 - NOA! (notification period given 180 days)

21th november 2007 - Biometrics appointment letter

18th december 2007 - Biometrics appointment in Baltimore, MD completed

29th march 2008 - FINALLY received letter with interview date!

8th may 2008 H 8:40 AM - Interview in Baltimore-APPROVED!

8th may 2008 H 3:00 pm (yes same day, crazy!) Oath Ceremony in Baltimore

24th may 2008 - US Passport application mailed off

6th june 2008 - US Passport received in the mail!!!

I couldn't agree with you more. Another VJ member and I have discussed this several times. I don't understand why people aren't able to freely post a concern without everyone jumping all over them and tearing the OP to shreads. The OP asks advice on one particular issue, but yet everyone strays from that issue and brings up other issues that were never asked about in the first place. It just doesn't seem right. It happens ALOT here.
